Overrides

Ok maybe I am going alittle crazy with these overrides but bare with me.

This is an override that adds lush forest floors. As always this is an optional thing. I have tried them and it works well.
((Disclamer: Again I am not the creator of this work. All credit goes to the designer listed on the site. So if it dosn't work... Don't blame me! ))
If anyone has a problem with these overrides please post a reply saying so. |

Ok here is another cool override... I know i'm obsessed.
This is one that makes the sky textures alot sharper and more vibrant. I have tried this and it works nicely so far. This override is meant for certain newer or semi-new video cards. The recomended is listed on the site.

Also I have been told that alot of files in your override can cause some lag. I have quite a few now and it hasn't affected me yet. |

Also I have been told that alot of files in your override can cause some lag. I have quite a few now and it hasn't affected me yet.
I have been informed (correctly?) that having lot's of stuff in your override causes lag on the Server side. Some PW's have banned their players from having anything in their override folders. So my guess is that a busy server with a great number of ppl with their override folders stuffed full, causes lag server side, and thus all players are affected.
*Shrugs* Fact or Fiction? only someone like PDW would know this I'm guessing |
