A great and unexpected "event." Posted: 29 Nov 2005 05:24 AM |
Thanks to True Darkness for this "event." It was completely unexpected, and I had a great time, as did the other players who I talked to. Considering that I'm the guy who usually misses events, it was awesome to be a part of 2 in the same day. My all time record heheh.
I just wanted to say thanks for immersing a new player into the world and making them feel involved and welcome. I look forward to what happens next, as well as unrelated quests in the future. |

Feel the same way. A big thanks to the dms for that little adventure in the Neb Woods. Though I have to say Talion will be a bit more cautious before entering any odd ruins in the future. |

Just for the record, I believe that TD has set a record for the most critters spawned in one area at one time.

How can you forget the Great Zombie Swarm in the Kobai? I think we had at least that many zombies running around, maybe a bit more. That day the undead learned a valuable lesson...never send zombies against a mage with multiple Empowered Fireballs...

| Dont forget the great undead upriseing upon the Great Plains, with no one but two single rogues to fight it off. The poor rogues.. |

| What about the day hell was unleashed on the Great plains, back when the stones were contaminated? That had to be over 100 count. |

| The best thing about it was that at the beginning, I thought we were in for a cakewalk. When we entered, there was nothing. We trampled the first few waves with ease, and then BAM! A shotgun blast of death. |

Ah yes my ranger remembers it well having walked in on this mid way through, and kicks himself for having chosen to head to Brandibuck that night....

Aw, what DM is mean enough to pit up two rogues against an army of undead?! That's just... wrong. Fun, but wrong. I remember playing a rogue that got stuck in a zone once because she was surrounded by high level undeads. I sat in the dang zone for three RL days before someone got me out. Did you survive? |
