DMs: DM Created Items

Just a thread to post any items that you create and give to players, i.e. Juylina's Armour, Daimon's sword, Macha's Amulet etc. I wouldn't bother searching for old items that were given out, like the ones above, but just use it for anything from this point on.
It's just a way for other DMs to keep track of what's been given. I'm used to using it, so I guess use it if you want. |

DESCRIPTION:
The words "Property of Port Royale Sanitation Model No. 0000-3" have been etched into the handle of this shovel, which is amazingly polished and strumpfy.
Few would guess that the now-resplendant 0000-3 spent many years in the captivity of the reptilian "Skalies" that inhabit Blackstone Caverns, but the shovel itself has never forgotten, and hits any reptile it encounters particularly hard.
Model No. 0000-3 has also been enchanted with magic which permits the wielder to shovel faster, longer and more effectively.

Blackened Ring
Description
This ring was found in a small old ruined temple outside of a Buckshire.
This ring seems to be made of obsidian. In the center of the ring is a small black stone of unknown origin.
The ring seems to give off a slight evil aura from the stone. It gives you a sense of slight control over the shadows.
Abilities:
AC Bonus vs. Alignment Group: Good +2
Cast Spell: Darkness (3) 2 Charges/Use
Decreased Saving Throws: Specific: Will -1
Skill Bonus: Bluff +5
Skill Bonus: Hide +5

There will be two of these found in an old temple to Menarok. That is assuming they will figure out how to get to the treasure.

Lantern of Souls
Description:
((This is the ooc item that goes along with Lantern of Souls.since they can't hold magical effects))
This lantern contains the souls of many dead men and women from the mountains of Fiirkrag.
It was promised that these souls would be delivered to a "higher place", but weather that will happen or not is up to the owner.
Inside the lantern appears to be a bright white ball of positive energy. With a well-trained divine backing, one might be able to use this energy to his or her advantage.

Description:
This ring represents the change in Dorian during a healing ritual by Juylina of Fiirhallen to repair the numerous scars he has received over the years as a mercenary.
The ring can never be removed, unless the ritual is undone, since it is not actually a ring but a representation of the change.

Severed Hand
Description:
This is a very large hand, of possibly a giant, that carries great magical powers.
Once each day, the hand can be used in such a way that it will produce a magical result. When the power is used for the day, the finger will curl into the palm.
Thumb: By pointing the "V" intbetween the thumb and index, flames will combust from the hand.
Index: By scratching someone with the index finger, you will absorb their energy.
Middle: By pointing the hand at a target, its fingernails will sharpen and fly from the hand.
Ring: By biting off the end of this finger, you will go into a form of barbarian rage for a short duration.
Pinky: By tightly gripping on the pinky, you will begin to regenerate lost energy.

DESCRIPTION:
There's a rumour floating around that "Gordon" is actually Gorlath, and furthermore, that Gordon (who may or may not be Gorlath) is fond of wearing dresses.
A tag on the back of the inside of this dress does indeed bear the name "GORDON" on it. Wearing it makes one more adept at persuasion (usually by leaning forward or standing somewhere windy), but it does have the side-effect of making the wearer prone to giggling and acting in a generally ditzy fashion - although anyone willing to wear such an outfit such as this probably acts in such a manner already.
REMARKS:
Based on the post from Emma's story, and also because I saw them talking about going to Gordon's (Gorlath's) IG to retrieve said dress. |
