It's Football Season! American football that is... and I thought it would be cool to start a Vives fantasy league... So here's the skinny... We will play on Yahoo, where it's nice and Free! I created a league with 12 open slots. If you like football and want to have some fun outside the Vives world with us, c'mon and join up! To sign up, you'll need a free Yahoo! ID. Then: In order to join, just go to Yahoo Fantasy Football, click on the Sign Up button, choose to "Join an Existing League" and then to "Join a Custom League." Then, when prompted, enter the following information... League ID#: 491072 Password: same one you use to play here Yahoo! will send you a confirmation with further details once you have completed the registration process. So if there's still slots open I'd like to give it a try. Not sure how it all works tho.What all stats are counted? I hear it varies depending on the league? Ya don't need a lot of experience to play... in fact the system will even suggest players to pick when it's your turn if you don't know much about them. Stats are basically based on how your players score... lots of detail to go into, but it's all in the league home page. Posted: 03 Sep 2003 09:38 PM I read the settings to see what stats were tracked .. Doesn't seem to track em for catches so I may have to rethink a thing or two.. Lookin forward to the draft next friday. We draft every week? Or only once and thats our team? Get your favorite beverages and snacking materials lined up, for tonight, we draft! We'll be starting at 10:30PM US Central time, which is GMT -6. You'll probably want to show up a few minutes early, to ensure that you have enough time to load the draft page. In case you want to check now, there is a test link on the league front page that you can use to ensure your system is OK with the java draft page. If you still want to join the league, we have open spots left, and would really like to get at least one more player so we don't have an odd number of teams. Well, that's it!
