The black hand. Posted: 16 May 2005 08:38 AM |
Just a thought, i know there are quite a few active players actually in the Black hand guild at the moment and it would be suberb if a Dm stood up to the task and run a thiefing type event for fello members. I know you dont like to encourage shut doors kind of events, but maybe a few would not hurt, just an idea anyhow.

Unfortunately the DMs all have a lot on their hands at the moments with all of the events/plots they are running.
Also, I refer you to the latest addtion to this post here which summarises stuff that has been discussed in the past about why the DMs don't like player run guilds.
Having said that, if any DM does have the time/inclination to run anything then they will post about it I am sure .

Speaking only for myself, it is very unlikely I will ever run a specific "Black Hand" event, due to all the reasons Sol has linked to.
That said, I have and do run plenty of events that will appeal to members of the hand. And others. Based on individual characters within the hand, and rivalries they have formed. But always open to any that it is IC to see get involved.
I personally think it very unlikely the hand will get more attention than that, and I think Chief knows and understands that.

Totally agree with Sirac. Plenty a nasty stuff going on IG to appeal to all. I for one have felt the wrath of many DMs accordingly! *shakes fist and looks at his ankles* That being said there are plenty of storylines which one can throw themselves into... which i have! Just takes a little RPin! Which all in question excel at!
