| .....Mister Jessup sat back in his chair twiddling with his new found trinket as Nico read off the lots for auction. With a grunt he ordered Nico to withdraw some of the funds of the shop and make the necessary preperations to partake of this auction. After all, one if not all of those items would look fine in Mister Jessup's room. Nico ran off to the cellar to do what he was ordered. Jessup looked down at the tiny stone he was fiddling with...it glowed and felt warm to the touch. The orc gave a low gurgle and headed upstairs to see where he would put his newly won items....besides even if he didnt win them all...Mister Jessup was certain he could obtain them..one way or another. |

With his refined taste, Quin becomes very excited about the lots available. Now this really is an auction worth attending. I think a really nice painting would go down a treat.
Quin then about his day with a somewhat excited look upon his face, completely oblivious to the fact he no longer has anywhere to hang anything. |

The Gears Turn Posted: 21 Apr 2005 11:18 PM |
Word of the auction reaches father Ranji, who heard of it from a halfling druid who had a very nasty cough. He passes the news on to Vidus, but the White Bishop is preoccupied with other matters.
Until Ranji describes the appearance of the third item...

In Buckshire, Miramil briefly says hi to Elbert and the two babble about inventions and insanely short-lived races before she dashes off, saying something about an auction and giving that mean Elf a good scolding for picking on poor Mister Harold. She says something about Mister Harold being a nicer artist, looks thoughtful, and heads off to the Trading Post.
~*~
Harold the vendor hears about the auction from a helpful littul person, who says that maybe he can add his works in as a last minute entry. If that mean Elf can get his works auctioned off, Harold should be able to get in easy.

At Carfax Inn, a wraith holds a conversation with thin air, or at least, it appears that way. The other, invisible voice is whispery and faint, but really, any good voice actor can talk like that... right?
The invisible voice says something about a task that can't be accomplished and writing it off as impossible... maybe. There's a really confusing sentence about a barrel rolling off on a journey after that.
~*~
A certain nobleman, stopping to gloat outside Johe's shop over its closing, overhears a little Gnome babbling to the archers standing guard outside the store. He pays no mind to the conversation until he hears the words "Johe", "brass artwork" and "auction" in the same sentence.
~*~
Miramil says hi to Mister Jessup's shopkeeper but he says that Mister Jessup already knows about the auction and will be in attendance.

| ((Heh heh, that was soo funny. *Pokes DarkBrightness* Glad you read my last-minute post before going in, Harold was great! Alas, I was laughing too hard to type. The moment was gone by the time I thought of a response, and I didn't want to inadvertently bid... as some others did.)) |
