Regarding tonights DM event Posted: 11 Apr 2005 10:52 AM |
[There will be a DM event run tomorrow evening GMT (Monday). It is open to all, though those with PCs above 10th level will probably get the most out of it, since parts of this event will be combat oriented, and in a difficult scenario. Naruth followers need not attend. Bereil and Shihaya'zad may well care to pitch up. Those interested should happen to be in McGillicutty's Watering hole at 8 PM, GMT. Apologies for the OOC nature of this announcement, a coincidental meeting has been deemed to be the most sensible way of getting this one started. If you have any questions or comments, please start a new thread for them. In the aftermath of the event, this news post will be converted into an IC news announcement, so your posts will seem very out of place. ;)

So this is a higher level event rather than lower - given that Bereil and Shihaya'zad are 20ish? I'm very interested in playing Rasp my cleric, who's around 16th, but if it's around the 10th mark then I could play Jack my rogue.
Anyone else up for it? |

As the DM, I do regret to say that 10 is probably the minimum level. I imagine Rasp would be more suited.

No no no, you misunderstand eachother...
Jack was saying that if the minimum level was 10, then maybe his epic character, Jack, his rogue, would be more suited than Rasputin, his level 16 cleric, even though Rasputin fits the requirements...
On another hand, I'd love to go, but that time is Noon here on the West Coast, which means I'm in school *frowns* |

Actually Veran think it is you that misunderstands! :0)
Jack Sprat is only about lvl 10. Think you're mixing him up with Jack Flashblade.
Rasputin is thus his highest level character, and the one he wants to take on tonights mission.
Cheers,

Yep - that's it. I play Jack Sprat and Rasputin (the clue is in the signature) :o)
Cool - ok then, Rasp may just happen to swing by the inn tonight then and see what's new. It's not turning into a good tavern for me lately though, what with missing out on getting the shard of the tear of Elbereth from Quin, and then running to the rescue for the Atlan attack (how hideous was that! Am I glad some hard people were drinking there that day!). |

A huge thank you to all involved, I really enjoyed being along and hope you enjoyed it as well.
I'm deeply sorry for the lag, and hope that it didn't ruin the event for too many of you.
Going to sleep now, IC posts will follow tomorrow. ;)

I had wicked fun playing tonights event.
Is it going to be part of an ongoing storyline?
Shame i missed the begginning. Would love to play more such events if the Dm's can fit 'em into their scheduals.

Yeah - really had fun (well apart from the 400hp damage I took whilst the lag wouldn't let me cast or move!) and enjoyed the whole thing. Also I got to see cool places I had never been before! Really really good - thanks very much. Hooray for DM stuff in GMT! |
