Burn baby burn! Yet another flame Posted: 06 Mar 2005 01:30 AM |
Please, take this as an humoristic flame. The meaning though is still very serious :)
Good morning.
This is a little flame.
A tiny, little flame.
*throws Nymph's dress* WHAT IS THAT!!! I don't mean the stats, no....T..the...dress...how it looks...
A nymph is supposed to be naked...Ok, we don't want naked ladies around but ... they should at least show some skin, AT LEAST A BIIIIT!!! Not the dress that goes up to the neck! *sniff* I bought it with all the money my little Nessa got and what was my surprise *SNIFF*
Please...Vives..a living breathing world...BUT LET THOSE NYMPH BREATH!!!! *cries*
On a serious note:
Seriously, my characters do not have lots of money. They work hard to get what they wants. And yes, I'm a dress-freak So when they can afford something magical and that results into...a...rather...not what I thought thing, I'm disapppointed. And if I want to put it in a more..."cute" way, it will cost me even more, and I'm almost sure it won't work *I'm rather unlucky with roll dices oh yes*! I don't know what it could be done, really, but maybe a non magical version of the dress could be found in the OOC lounge so we try it and see the results?
*shrugs* Please! :)

The curse that is the NWN shop system.. Why oh why couldn't it work like Dungeon Siege did.. You could buy stuff in that game then sell it back for the same that you bought it, as long as you diddn't close the window. Was real useful for trying stuff out.. I do beleive Vives used to have a system where you could try before you buy, but HoU broke it. Silly epic levels and all that. |

Tomorrow I'm gonna make it my priority to go through all the dresses etc in game and give them correct appearances There's several that still need to be fixed from a while back when we introduced a new hak that cuased a few problems.
I'll create a new nymph dress also and replace the one you have Nessa ;)

Okay, so this thread is kinda old, but I'm just surfing through for the first time (bear with me).
Hmm - I've noticed that many of said shops have Changing Rooms available - perhaps something could be implemented (provided you don't leave the area) so that after the PC has tried the purchased item on (if tried on in the Changing Room) the attendant would ask if the item was acceptable, and if not, the item be removed and the purchase value returned? |
