Half finshed quests Posted: 28 Feb 2005 10:29 AM |
Are there any plans to finish off the part-made quests, or is that already on 'the list'?
Things like the missing mayor of Buckshire (to complete deidre pink's quest); the peeping tom; gorolath's key releasing the missing 'trapped' woman; the crying woman in midor looking to give her fiancee's necklace back? Don't know if there's any more I've missed.
Or are they all complete and I just haven't done them?
I realise there's such a huge ongoing task of work for the DM team already, lots of areas which are half finished etc. so I'm only asking out of interest. |

I've spent a lot of time looking for those things. It would be nice to know if they are actually finished. |

There's at least two others (but not telling you which ones to not spoil it for anyone). As far as I know they're not finished yet. So I suppose this is WIP, but some have been long in progress ;D |

I'm pretty sure this one is not complete yet.. I can't comment on the other ones though I'm afraid . |

Strange thing is I saw him once about Buckshire and confronted him....It was long ago and I've not seen him since....The only clue I will give is that when I saw him he was not in his residence....So I think that he is only around sporadically....or dare I say been assassinated...
As for the others I am assuming they are a WIP (Work In Progress) |

That was the previous mayor actually. And yes he was IG. But the new one isn't. ;) |

Re: Half finshed quests Posted: 28 Feb 2005 03:38 PM |
Can I make two tiny suggestions.
Is it possible to disable a quest that has not been completed so that people dont get given the quest which cannot as yet be done.
The other is perhaps for a forum notification of when they are complete if they have already been put in game, so those that have them dont need to keep checking.
Just a thought. |

Hi folks ;)
Some Quests were only part finished due to waiting on some new areas that were going to be added in game. There's been a slight change of plans as regards this (the ones incomplete are quite large and interlink somewhat), so apologies for the delay in eventually getting these done....... but I'll ensure that they are finished this Week :)
Cheers

On that note, the new area I encountered this week is awesome.
The area had a real environmental feel to it, like I could almost feel the air about me and the actually life of the one of the subareas was superbly done.
In fact I would have to say it is one of the most living breathing areas I have come across on Vives and yet possibly one of the most static.
Kudos to its designer, which I presume is Ara. |

Does that mean that X finally will be released of that toddler he's been carrying in his backpack forever? ;) |

Re: Half finshed quests Posted: 01 Mar 2005 12:37 PM |
Well since it would be "You were" you cannot abbreviate that and even if you did it would be You're not your.
And since I didnt abbreviate it "you" was spelt perfectly correctly as I earlier said. The problem was grammatical for having missed the word "were".
So.... as I said, non of the words were spelt incorrectly.
