For anyone who's anybody

If you know Ana'Estasia, or Jand, or even if you know someone that knows them you have likely heard they are getting married. If you'd like to attend it is going to be held in Ferein, with a reception held afterward at the Broken Mask in Port Royale. Music will be given by the illustrious Macha Sparrowsong.
((hoping to do this on sat. the 6th at around 10 am EST (that's 3 pm gmt) if at all possible. Please let me know if this is not a good time for an available DM, or if there would be a better time to schedule)) |

I think there will be DM coverage here. (Barring unforeseen scheduling/issues).
However, I'd like to suggest that my preference would be - if at all possible - that a PC drive the ceremonies. I think that would be fun! |

Jand stood next to the two elven holy archers slight in there build and carrying bows of Ferein. He ajusted his suit and smiled at them. It made him laugh inside that for all the times he had been here they still hadnt worked out he could speak elven. The wernt overly nasty about him but they just didnt like the fact this human was marrying an elf.
He stood there waiting for what seemed like eternerty and looked up at the sky it was a fine day and he hoped it would hold. He wasnt alowed to see Ana and it had been hard not doing so. He was standing there waiting to see people as they arrived. He wished Jonny would hurry as he had to give him his rings. He thought to himself that although he loved jonny he wasnt the right man for this kind of job.
He could hear his own heartbead thumping louder and louder it got. I wonder if I locked my door he thought to himself... |

Even among her kind, she was a large and powerful one; which was fortunate because she came into being...different. Not different physically, even though she was a fine specimen to be sure, but she saw thing differently from the others, had a hunger for things they others did not.
Consider the mortals for instance. Like mayflies, they blew around with their busy little lives, thinking that what they did had any meaning. It didn't.
Still they did some strange things. Things like Weddings, Marriage Vows, Commitments, Permanent bonds between creatures, sometimes not even of the same race. How...strange.
It intrigued her. Her kind had no such notion, they dealt with each other with violence and power vs power in the never ending, eternal struggle for control. This wedding stuff the mortals performed seemed to give them something, some kind of power they did not have when alone. She had to know what it was.
And so she sought out to learn. She sought out those out who were undertaking their unusual rituals.

^^^ Thanks for that PD.. really made an interesting time of things. And don't forget everyone, if you were hitting your print screen button you should have some .tga 's in your NWN main folder. Send them my way calmeir@hotmail.com and i'll get them posted soon as I can ;)
And thanks to everyone who attended, made it quite an enjoyable time. Turnout was MUCH larger than I expected for only two days notice! Thanks everyone. |
