Forthcoming Updates
Posted: 28 Sep 2004 02:56 PM
We're working hard in the toolset at the moment, working on some -VERY- large updates.... these are mainly linked in with some DM events currently running. However, we're also updating many of the existing areas and adding in more Quests and NPC's etc.... (recent example being the expansion, so to speak, of Buckshire and associated areas/Quests).

So here's a big 'ol List of what will be hitting in game shortly:

(1) Additions to and completion of Carfax.

(2) Night Mask and Fire Knife additions.

(3) The full-on Nethar'u (this is what is taking quite some timee as it's huge).

(4) More to do with Se'eth.

(5) The Island of Shai'jin and erm..... associated "stuff" (again quite a large project).

(6) Several quite large and intricate Quests (with associated monsters, NPC's, areas etc).

So apologies for the lack of any "Big" updates as of late....... but you'll soon wee why :P

Ferein is also undergoing changes........

but...... with 1.64 imminent, as we'll be needing a few new (tiny) haks (as we always do when Bioware patch, because they always mess with existing scripts, haks etc etc)....... then we might as well add some cool new ones too! (smallish though). some of these are earmarked for Ferein, so apologies for not much happening on that yet, but we'll be finishing up the new Ferein when we have the haks to utilise :)

Cheers

Ara

There's quite a lot of updates in version 2-47-5, which is going live now........

Over the next Week or so, there'll be many many more :)

Brandibuck has undergone a little cosmetic change, as (I'm sure you've all seen) has Port Royale Outskirts.

At the moment, our main focus is still the completion of Nethar'u (which is taking time as it's kinda large) which will link in with the ongoing DM event run so well by Sirac and SolSmiley

However, look also for forthcoming updates in the areas of Ferein and Bregodim, as we begin to finish them up (more so here in the case of Ferein) and also to a certain extent re-do (certainly the case with Bregodim as we've now got an awesome looking Dwarven Tileset to work with :P)........

we'll also be adding in new types of armour and clothing such as Togas (just put in the last version), Elven Chain (should be in game within the next 48 hours), Samurai Armour, new robes etc etc etc.......... of course it goes without saying, that there'll be some wondrous new monsters too :P

There are still some other areas being worked upon, that will form part of large quests (mainly static in nature)......... not gonna tell you when those make it in game though :P

Cheers

Cant wait. Really cant.

I love Port by the way. I think it might become my favourite area. Just a thought, if something could be placed there it might form a nice focal point which is more useful to new players than the Great Plains.

Plus PR Outskirts is too nice to be a walk through area.

Thanks for all your doing guys.
