v2-38-4 changes Posted: 17 Aug 2004 09:34 PM |
Ara:
*gasp*
the new midor is beautiful... very very beautiful.
given the changes, Midor is set to become the center of the world again (once the current troubles are over, of course.)
Mirgul road? simply wonderful. Eastern Mirgul forest? *sigh*. Cant wait to see the western one some day.
Great Plains? not plain anymore.
To everyone else. There are a few small glitches (like not being able to go into midor temple - no loss). Just use the vives bug reporter tool and they will be fixed shortly. (or type in "/bug" to bring it up if you can find your tool)

Absolutely love it. West Midor in particular has a real feel to it. Excellent work , how about makin the docks more scummy and shippy with some more alleys and hookers . Think Tangiers or Mombassa. Keep it up |

Midor looks awesome!!!
It actually looks like a city rather than a square with buildings around the edge.
Thanks Ara. This is a real flavouring to our world. |

Yeah, I agree, I really love the direction that Vives is headed in as far as building goes. The way every world area was crammed into a single game area was one of the least appealing aspects of Vives. The best built world I played was Sacrifice PW and they had world areas made up of about 10 game areas each. It made for a much more immersive environment and made the world feel really big. I loved exploring that world.
Having a mental map was a lot more important that the IG map.
Keep up the great work Ara and other builders. |
