Thank you and farewell

I would like to thank all the DMs involved in the node quest. It has been truly one of the best ones I have ever been into to. But the end now just broke my heart. :)

For those who read the last reflection thread, I am sure you will understand. For those who will still be participating in the quest I wish you a lot of fun. No I am not leaving Vives, but my recent decision caused some serious turmoil in my head. I made a decision that seemed logical for Xaranthir to take. For everyone spent playing with him, thank you for the countless hours of fun. I shan't mention names here, for I would only foget people.

Just remember this: actions IG have consequences. Always think twice before deciding on something.

I would like to thank Cele (I know who you are, and no I don't hate you!!!!Smiley), Barnas (for his excellent portrayal of Lani), my newest apprentice Lindela and all whom X concidered friends.

Sorry, I am tad emotional now... Not everyday I try to save the world by doing something so drastic.

I need some time now to think... lots of time...

Know, that whatever goes through your mind, it is the sign of true devoted Roleplay, that you later realize that your char did something out of his conviction, based on what he stood for all that time, things he has been through, things he has seen, things he has done.

People often say: It is impossible to be In Character like that.

And I say they are wrong. As long as you have in mind the traits you have given your character, his pleasantries and oddities and simply play without worrying about anything else but how your character would respond. Then it is your character making the calls, you only execute them, curious as to where it goes, as not always can you foresee how things will go or end.

That happened now to Dias Ashenfield, Xaranthir. Kudos to his player, he let the char decide.

Why can't I PM myself?

Thanks Ruldain. I must say X made the decision in a blink of an eye. Some might call it a whim, but I knew and know why he made the decision. I also know that some do not understand why he killed himself, as it appears to be OOC for X.

Well it is not. If you think so, then I have truly succeeded in portraying him the way I wantedSmiley

Of course me, the player, would have rather kept him alive. But at that time, although he had two other options, he chose his own path. One that seemingly surprised all. Including me.

To be frankly I didn't think I had it in me to kill off a character in which I had invested 1000 hours. I felt bad about it, but now that is slowly changing. It is as Ruldain states. What he did, he did out of conviction.

Too bad I forgot to write a farewell note, but well spur of the moment I suppose. Too much went on in my head to think about that. ;)

Ronan went to La Sapienza last night looking for Xaranthir - certain he could shed light on Calia's recent actions. Ronan has no head for the arcanes or divines you know.

Judge Griffin never let on IG that X is now an Ex-X.
