Logging &Mining for the non-martial type

I would like to request that Pick axes, and other crafting materials be taken off the martial item list and be available to others...who do not have the martial skill..
It's a long shot, but if you dont ask, you dont recieve.

Heh Dias took martial weapon prof. to use those back when he was level 6 or 9. ;)

| It's not quite that easy as "taking them off a list". It can be done, and it has been done elsewhere, and it might get done here. But it's not trivial. |

Well, I heard that rumor too. In IRC. But I have also heard that trees don't chop correctly any longer. Which might or might not be connected with what someone may or may not have done with the tools.

| Yes Pickston gave the idea and Fen said he would put it IG, Pick even said how it could be done easily. I belive he must have forgoten. Though I belive that is an idea the builders are already working or will start working soon. Maybe fen thought to present this in a meeting and forgot or it was simple denied. But I agree tool shouldnt be seen has weapons and should not require any specific feat. |
