((The earliest for me on a weekday is 7:00 PM EST, which is still bloody late for GMT people (midnight, unless different adoption dates for daylight savings time screw that up). That is, however, 4:00 PM for West Coast people, which sort of puts 9-5 working stiffs out of the running.

How does 3:00 PM EST Saturday sound? That's noon PST and 8:00 PM GMT. ))

((Had that post originally said Friday, or am I going senile in my old age? Sunday is fine for me, so, just to bring this all full circle, the text is re-posted below. The time is: 8:00 PM GMT/3:00 PM EST/Noon PST Sunday March 18. Green ale will be served.))

The following notice is posted in the Chess Hall and at the Four Winds Inn:

My fellow adventurers:

There is one word I have heard voiced by many in the weeks since the Atalan began their murderous campaign: action.

Conversations take on greater and greater urgency, and many say: it's time to act.

Plans are made around tables in taverns, around fires in caverns, in private homes, in gaming halls. Not all of those concerned are ever in the same place at the same time.

Who is in charge? How can ideas become plans, how can plans become actions?

All who wish to present their ideas and offer their support are invited to meet six days hence at Mrs. Miggins Pie Shop in Port Royale. All who wish to oppose the Atalan are welcome to attend.

In faith,

Emma Robinson

Agenda: Notice of Meeting
Posted: 16 Mar 2007 12:49 PM
Emma had received only one reply concerning the proposed agenda, a reply from the Seer Salt that had presaged the possibility that the first point on the agenda would threaten to split adventurers into the small cadres that represented the current facts.

Aside from Magister Salt, most of those she'd circulated the proposed agenda to had replied with what she perceived as hostility, an attitude best summed up as 'who are you to do this?' Who indeed? Though she felt dark clouds loomed over the coming meeting, and that there was a strong possibility adventurers would decide on a cynical and arrogant man lacking in wisdom and compassion to be their voice, she also felt it was their choice to make, not hers.

In any event, her stores of energy were wearing down. Her own quiet efforts related to the Atalan: burying the dead in Gladden, making armour for possibly freed orc slaves, organizing a mission to feed the starving of Port Royale, were either unknown or forgotten. She didn't care so much about that: it wasn't recognition or power that she craved.

What she did face were accusations that -nothing- had been done, accusations that had an undertone suggesting she was someone who somehow had the power to do -something-, and that therefore blame should be falling at her feet. Talion was not the only one who'd had unanswered letters. She was just quieter about hers.

And the most recent attack on her character? She had assaulted Frost Giants, and created enmity between the Sisters, who had always got on so swimmingly before. Was Emma the only adventurer in all Vives who'd ever killed a Frost Giant? And the last time she had ventured into the Icy Lands was a month ago. For how much longer would the poor Priestess of Helkris get mileage from this?

She sighed, then posted the proposed agenda below the call for the meeting. Regardless of how it went, Emma hoped that after it was over she could walk away with head held high and perhaps go without personal insults for a few days. She was tired of pretending they didn't hurt.

Agenda:

1. Leadership: who is to speak for the adventurers who offer their swords?

2. A brief history of the events that led to the situation we face today.

3. A summation of the facts on the ground:

a. What areas are held by the Atalan and grey dwarves?
b. What are the capabilities of the three fighting forces allied against the Atalan (Novus Aristi, Bregodim Defenders, Ferein)? What other forces can be marshalled?
c. What are the capabilities of the enemy? What do we know of their numbers and resources (including dragons, constructs, and the like)?
d. How does Midor enter into the equation? What do we know of the numbers and resources of the Midoran army?

4. A summation of the immediate needs of the populace of Vives:

a. Port Royale
b. Buckshire
c. Brandibuck
d. Icy Vale
e. Bregodim exiles
f. Haven refugees
g. Ferein
h. Asashi
i. Miscellaneous smaller villages if people wish to speak about them (i.e. the Aecini, the Artio, the Nordsmen, the Frostfolk)

5. An opening of the floor to ideas to adress two broad objectives: ( a) ensuring that the current populace of Vives doesn't die of starvation and disease, and (b) winning the wider war. For now, and for obvious reasons, specific ideas will remain off the posted agenda.

6. A plan of action, with specific points identified and specific responsible individuals.

Re: Fall into Darkness

Well, no one else was doing it. Everyone just expected the world to bow and snap and then some gentle figure to pick up the pieces and mend it back together again. Syluné had never seen a god or other divine figures pamper their subjects like everyone seemed to think they would. She had only seen them angered and wrathful, damming their followers for ill deeds (Only one god proved to a different view from that.) So, perhaps she would have to prove herself to the gods in one way or another. After all, you’re just a speck of sand on the map until you make yourself noticed and get in someone’s eye. . . Right?

She climbed up the mountain side; though her spells did most of the work as they shifted her down one slope and then the others. She came to the entrance of the cave and with a cloak if invisibility, and with her graceful quiet steps, walked forward into its darkened dank structure.

She didn’t dare try and speak with a giant; they didn’t exactly seem the smartest of creatures. She had never fought one of these types before, nor did she want too. She watched a moment as one of them scratched in an inappropriate manner. This was to be a peaceful meeting, or at least she would hope it would turn out that way; else she might end up like one of those crumpled corpses she often found laying about. She headed towards the encampment after skipping past the doorway with a spell. After getting past two gargantuan giants she shifted back into the small passage until she came to a mound of rubble. She could see over it to the other side and mumbled her song once more so that she might shift behind it.

Once behind the mound of rock and dirt she proceeded to the hut like house and walked herself inside. She smiled as the little girl came up giving her a hug. She returned the gesture and nodded to the man and woman. She had brought food along and left it for the family as she was sure they were having a troubled time getting any down here if others were having a hard time getting it up above.

“I need to rest here for just a moment. . . Gather some thoughts before I continue on. I hope you don’t mind?”

“No, not at all Syluné, thank you for the food.” The woman motioned and smiled.

“Not a problem.” Syluné responded with a smile and plopped down into the chair next to the desk and took out a glass scroll case. She had sketched up a map before hand, one that was to be passed along to the Witch she now sought out. She had heard of many rumors of people coming down to steal from her, and often they would be slaughtered by her wrath. She was more than interested to meet the lady, but fear coaxed through her blood if nothing else. After all, Syluné was no Paladin. . . She was no strong arm, and she was no adept mage; she was but a bard. A bard with a story to tell the Witch should she dare listen to it; if Syluné would dare speak it.

She sat there a few moments, regaining her composure and the songs that came natural to her. “Let’s not fear the act of acting, aala?” She jumped to her feet after the little moral boost and nodded to the family as she walked out. No doubt they thought her insane, for anyone who was willing to risk life and limb had to have a tinge of insanity. After all, such things separate those from the common man, insanity in law, or insanity in chaos—Insanity held no bounds, just defined what character you were in life.

Once more her spell to cloak her passage came up and slowly she treaded down the steps. She wasn’t exactly sure how to go about addressing the Witch, no doubt it would be rude to just waltz in and demand attention, and that’s not the type of person she was. Though considering the situation, it might be needed. She had walked down into the lower caverns before, so she was not lost while shifting through the winding tunnels. Once outside the entrance of the Witches bed chamber she once more hummed a soft tune which placed her over the traps that were clearly placed down and past the giant that guarded the door.

She saw the Witches head twist slightly; she was beautiful, unlike the image others had set up of her. “Please I beg you lady, wait!” Syluné shouted dropping to her knees before the Witch her hands rose presenting the scroll case. The Witch had started to raise her hand as if to dispatch of her. “I’ve dire new which concerns you.”

The Witch kept her hand raised and Karkus looked around dumbfound as if trying to seek out the source of the voice. His head thrashed around violently like some flabbergasted fish out of water, his spit slightly flicked form his lower lip as he did such.

She was not dead yet, which means she had snagged her attention. Syluné rolled the glass scroll case forward towards the Witch. “I’m sure even new of the Atalan has reached you here. . . however, if not, let me have your ear.” She paused, noting nothing coming from the Witch she continued. “They have slaughtered all that have come in their path, making Childs play of war.”

“You were getting to the point to where this affects me, were you not? Less tongue and more point.” The witch said dryly, her hand dropping, clearly finding the woman before her less than a threat; More like a mouse to a tiger, hardly worth the effort of a spell. This was a new turn of events; she was so used to people waltzing in here and nicking things.

“Yes I was, Lady.” Syluné did not remove her stance, keeping a respectful demeanor. “We believe they plan to march on Buckshire.”

“Once again, I see not how this affects me. . . Should they move on Buckshire then that is one less place that will cause me annoyance.” Her tone was still dry, she looked Syluné over it was almost as if there was a slight tinge of amusement in her eyes.

“Lady, The Atalan affect us all. . . I’ve no doubt once they find out there is a formidable and highly capable figure down within these caves they will pose an attack and attempt to try and make you submit to their will.”

“And why says you this?—Flattery is welcome however.” She adds in to let the kneeling woman know she has yet to lose interest.

“I say this, lady, because every place that even has the smidgen of power, wealth, or dominance they have rushed over and destroyed. Though I come here to actually give you warning, and perhaps beg for aid. . .”

“Warning? Aid?” The Witches tone slightly gave rise. Karkus snorted, snot flying only to hang out over his chin. The Witch slightly glanced over, her tone less amused with the giant as she watch his massive green snot ball dangle off his chin. The Witch slowly turned her attention back to Syluné; Karkus didn’t seem to notice anything amiss.

Syluné didn’t comment she was in the role of messenger and diplomat; she had to play the part well. “I know well that feelings between you and Buckshire do not bode well—”

“You could say that is an understatement.” The Witch replied in her ever dry tone.

Syluné paused and bit at her lower lip, “Either way, if Buckshire does not hold the lines, Dear Lady, then it’s to the mountains the Atalan will go too. I know you don’t like anyone in your realm, but my warning is that, if this does happen, it will not be but one trespasser; it will be an army of them. Their blades have the ability to cut asunder the most bold of fighters, their magic’s have the potency of the most well versed mages. . . I’ve seen them conjure up deep dragons from their underground abode. ”

“So what is it you’re exactly asking I do, child?”

“I’m asking you to do nothing, I’m begging you. Buckshire needs your aid, and it is only aloof because of the Mayor that runs it. . .” She gave pause, “But perhaps if someone with your majestic nature were able to take charge and guard the town from further destruction? I’ve a very keen mind to believe that the people of Buckshire would prefer your guardianship over the daft gnome that they have instated now. . .”

It was almost as if she cracked a slight smile behind her blackened vial, she was amused with the bards flattery. “Is that so?”

“Aala, that is so,” Syluné responded with a nod of her head, her platinum locks trickling down off her shoulders.

“Well I have no need of a town,” She paused. “I’ve no desire to have people become my responsibility, though if you could get rid of that gnome. . .”

“Understood, Lady.”

“But I do understand where you are coming with this; you think these Atalan would dare come into my Mountain home?— And if they do, you wish me to eradicate them and hold them back with my own army?”

“I think they would challenge you for it as well, Lady. Killing your subjects and guards along the way if you were unaware of such an event; Enslaving your Giants and anything else you might consider yours. I would only wish, and hope, that should they come into your home you prove to them that they have limits—” She quickly added in, “as I’m sure someone with your finesse and magical aptitude can deliver.”

Karkus slammed his mace into the ground as if protesting Syluné’s words. A series of grunts and annoyed tones followed. “Elfus nots have ouz homez,” his voice bellowed out.

“We’ll it seems we can’t have that, now can we?” The Witch turned her gaze from Karkus to Syluné. “Seem’s you’ve worked him into a fit.”

“Karkus eat brainz of little Elfus Ata-laans,” his voice turned into a growl, it still echoing off the cave walls. Slobber spat out and the Witch just looked on with a rather amused tone about her; though her voice was still dry.

“Perhaps we will aid, but I make no promises. . . If they come into my realm, we will be ready.” She paused, “I believe you can exit on your own accord, half-blood.”

“Yes, Lady, I thank you for your time, and just hope that I might have been useful to you.”

“Perhaps we shall see how your little advice turns out.” Once more she pauses, “And who knows, perhaps I will take over Buckshire.”

Syluné offered a smile and bowed her head. Swiftly her feet carried her out of the room recasting the same spell that had gotten her there safely.

The Witch turned to Karkus who was still taking deep breaths to calm is hissy-fit. “Plucky that one, normally they just run in and die.”

Karkus snorted in response.

“This should prove interesting,” She summoned up the glass scroll case that lay on the ground. From there she opened it and gestured causing the parchment to float in front of her. It was a detailed map of two possible entries the Atalan might take. One was in the pass with the crack in the cavern wall, and the other was the gates of Buckshire. Another Parchment floated out as the map unrolled itself before her.

Lady,
-----I fear I know not your name as your mention is all but myth and legend. This parchment has come to you either by my death or safe passage. It was intended that if my words did not reach you in life, they would at least in death.
-----Vives is crumbling and I fear it is headed to a dark age where most of our culture as it is will cease to exist. Man will no longer be man and we will find ourselves slaves and rogues; perhaps even fighting once more for feudal lords.
-----The race that is known as the Atalan means to ransack the known surface world, and I know this might not directly affect you as of now—but if they are left unchecked and unattended, their reign over us might never be able to be shaken. I will do anything that is required for your aid in Buckshire, need I subject myself to be your personal servant, this I will do. I know it is but a small dot on the map, if not a speck; but this dot might be the only place where we might be able to halt the Atalan advancement. They attack with no warning, they fight with no end, they never run out of supplies, and their forces hardly ever drop. They’ve dragons of the deep and mages that rival most. Without your protection, I doubt the very existence of Vives.
-----Pray you lady, should any of this affect you, or your kin, I hope that it only prepare you for the attack once it hits. Should you feel content enough to give aid, Buckshire will be ever grateful, but if not, please ward your mountain home well.
~Syluné

Shihaya'zad packed up the small pack of cushions that was placed near the dragon statue where Xyr used to sleep.
She glanced around the room, and with a slight nod towards El'Zash, the air elemental who floated in the corner next to the door as always awaiting new orders, she stepped outside.

It was late evening, the sun had already vanished behind the large trees that covered Ferein in a dark green hue.
A last time she closed the door and locked it, then walked towards the tower of the Tel'Elena.

She passed the guards, made her way to the first floor and looked around the large room. It was unusually empty, but given the recent events at the shoreline not a surprise.
Near the bookshelves she spotted the delicate figure of Arien Elensar.
After approaching her silently, Shihaya'zad bowed formally to the leader of the Tel'Elena, and began to speak.

"Lady Arien, I wish to give back my house Ferein provided me with. And with it the key, I know you will make good use of it."

The blonde mage revealed a small key from her robe and handed it to the head of the Ferein mages, who obviously was not sure what to make of her words yet.

"I know I have never been able to become the elf I am meant to be.
I tried, for a time, on my own and with the help of others.
But my roots lie elsewhere, and it is the roots that tie you to a place, and even more to a way of living.

Should Ferein ever need my help again, I will not hesitate to do so, just as I would help any other who deserve. I was taught from birth on to see the whole, not just a frame.

Originally, it was Master Camthalion Tasratir who had invited me to stay, live and learn in Ferein. He left, and was treated with disrespect for his reasons, which were just his loyalty to Aros.

Then, the death of Sairalinde Nenharma and now Elvalia, and the ultimatum given showed me clearly again what I always tried to understand, and live.

I mean no disrespect towards the elven people, but if this is the elven way, I would rather not be an elf.
Not for Aros, and not for Ferein.

Therein lies my decision. Farewell, Lady Arien."

With these words Shihaya'zad bowed once more, awaited a dismissive nod, and turned to leave the tower.
As she reached the shoreline she could see Xyr sitting on the planks, awaiting her arrival.
She looked down on her small friend, and smiled slightly, but said nothing. Neither did he.
Then they left.

Call to Action: Retaking Haven Redux
Posted: 20 Mar 2007 04:26 PM
The clock was ticking, and the banners were rustling. They couldn't wait any longer, and so the call was sent out again to the Heralds, and their allies. To return to Haven, to find the survivors, and to cleanse the mountain fortress.

((All friends and allies of the Novus Aristi are welcome to assist in the rescue of Haven survivors. This will occur on Saturday, March 24rd at 10 PM CST which is March 25th at 3 AM GMT. If possible, we will start at 9 PM CST, I will update as schedules allow. The gathering will begin at Ladriel tower as last time.))

Emma's Notes
Posted: 07 Apr 2007 10:12 PM
Emma sat against the wall on the floor of the mostly deserted common room of the Four Winds Inn, a flat piece of lumber against legs that made an inverted V upon the floorboards. A parchment sat against the lumber, a white-feathered quill was in her hand, and an ink-pot sat on the floor beside her.

A few patrons looked curiously to her, but she ignored their questioning eyes, and they mostly forgot about her. Emma was good at blending in when need be. Last night, she, Markus, and Cedrych had killed four of Jessup’s men (3 men and a woman, actually); the beating administered to Bel was nothing in comparison to what they’d done this eve, and it had taken some force of will for Emma to write with a steady hand.

Yes, she thought, I will keep my back against the wall.

Three weeks back, the meeting had taken place in Ferein. Hope that a victory over the Atalan can be achieved had briefly been kindled in those that participated, but they were so few, and though some aspects of the meeting had no doubt trickled out to a few others, many were completely in the dark.

That would have to be rectified, but Emma had been hoping to wait until Markus had been able to meet with Evayne. Three weeks on, Ferein ostensibly in turmoil over the departure of the loyal Arosians and the death of Elvalia, the meeting had still not happened.

What little Talion was willing to share with Emma indicated his plans were hardly progressing either. She’d seen the Atalan situation cycle between hope and despair for some time now, but it was evolving into something far more dangerous: acceptance. A final push was necessary, but Emma first had to update herself on where matters currently sat, at least to the extent she knew.

Notes on the War with The Atalan, 3rd Tetradi of Luminarre, 1003 SD

Attendance at the first planning meeting:

Markus Mortriety, Herald of the Novus Aristi
Talion Deraith, Swordsman, Smith, Magister
Dorian Altos, Swordsman, Smith
Gledia Amakiir, Elven Bard
Timik Gorozai, Halfling Warrior
Laurelin Gilgalen, Elf
Alyssa Elliot, Priestess of Naruth
Emma Robinson, Monk

Kaukus Mur, Commander of the Dwarven Armies
Aeladhrial Na'wian, Commander of Ferein’s Armies

Two Plans Presented: Gladden Plan and Undraeth Plan

1. Gladden Plan (Talion championed it)

Hit and Run Attacks against the Atalan, championed by Talion and his pal Xaranthir: Not really a strategy, certainly not a party most of us will be given hats and drinks for anyway.

Creating and training a military force to reinforce the Buckshire Trading Post: Not something that the elve or dwarf could offer any help with. I’ve now had Talion refer to himself as general, when addressing me in my Gruanna alter-ego. Right now he’s all hat and no cattle. I presume this gives him his cattle.

The Actual Military Plan

Retake Gladden Farmlands: this deals with the lack of supplies for the surface forces (us), in Talion’s estimation. I would suggest it ordinarily takes at least 3 months for wheat to mature, so it is a very long-term goal unless Ferein druids work miracles on the farmlands there.

Step 1: Ferry dwarven army to Asashi;

Step 2: Dwarven army takes control of Gladden Mines;

Step 3: Talion suggests the grey dwarves would reinforce the Gladden Farmlands in response. If they don’t, a piece of territory is captured, but an entire army was used to defeat a handful of foes.

However, that army might end up being very close to the nearest entrance to Undraeth anyway, a piece of intelligence gleaned somewhat later.

Step 4: A team of adventurers works to release the orclun hostages (assuming there are any) and arm the slaves working the fields.

Step 5: The orclun attack the grey dwarves on one side and archers hidden in the hills (ostensibly elves, though I’m not sure the elves actually committed forces to this plan) attack on the other side)

Step 6: A small team has set explosives at the gate to Gladden. These go off and the dwarven army rush in, now surrounding the grey dwarves on three sides.

One matter of note here is that Talion assumes fear of Helkris will keep Nothari’in from sending reinforcements as the battle progresses. One would hope that assumption could be turned into a firmer understanding.

Step 7: Reinforce Icy Vale with stone quarried in the Gladden Mines. This again seems predicated on a very long-term approach, and soldiers, not stone, would repel the grey dwarves. The Icy Vale forces are not equal to a serious attack, whether they have piles of rock or not.

The major strategic benefit of this plan is the re-taking of agricultural lands, not dealing a death-blow to the heart of the enemy.

2. Undraeth Plan (Markus championed it)

This plan deals with actually striking the Atalan in Undraeth. A victory there strips them of heart and brain, and should bring them to their knees. It also robs them of two to three-thousand slaves.

Step 1: Markus meets with the slave Evayne and ascertains the location of a nearby entrance to Undraeth.

Step 2: A small party liases with the elven slaves, and seeks their assistance in battling the Atalan (note to self: this may be more successful if Evayne goes along; it would definitely need elven speakers.)

Step 3: The assistance of the slaves secured, an attack by the forces of elf and dwarf is organized that sees Atalan defenses compromised by the slaves and slave turn against master. Ideally, their city falls.

This is a much simpler plan than what Talion proposes, but then the Atalan City has not yet been scouted. Military details can’t really be ironed out without military intelligence.

The monk then made a final review of her notes and slipped the folded parchment into a small pocket in her new stealth suit, before disappearing into the shadows and leaving the inn.

Letter Delivered

Markus delivered the letter himself. It had too much sensitive information to be delivered by any other. With metronomic steps he marched down the halls of the council’s palace in Ferein. His hand dutifully handed the envelope to the clerk.

To the Esteemed Members of the Council,

First I write to you of information pending the assassination of Queen Sairalindë Nénharma. It has come to my attention that around the time of the assassination, the Righteous Sword Inquisitors left Midor without consent of the Church of Midoran. Consequently several of the Inquisitors were later seen in the company of their rumored Mistress and Trainer Fri’el in Port Royale, entering the building of Pickston and Jessup’s Wild Tours.

The next topic regards the Atalan. A number of slaves have attempted to escape the persecution of their Atalan masters. It has resulted in failure on both their part – and ours; the rest of the world’s. On one hand we underestimate the tenacity of the Atalan assassins who hunt down the escaped slaves and attempt to remove them at all costs. The other is the slaves do not believe they have any safe place to find refuge once they have left Undraeth. Two of the fled slaves were found, and questioned before an assassin managed to get to either one. Both pointed to a secret entrance to Undraeth on the path to the Slyvian forest. On investigation of this cavern my party and I were accosted by spiders of various breeds, but most strikingly a couple of those breeds are ones to be found in Undraeth, giving proof to the slaves words. One of them gave word of the Atalan preparing something, they are moving their arms, and supplies to another location. What they plan? It is not known. But knowing this causes me to feel a sense of urgency to strike at them before their plans can be complete.

It is my modest hope that I may meet with the prisoner, under your supervision once again and question her about Undraeth.

Finally I have been approached by a few prominent figures in the Brandibuck community, and they have requested of me to pass on a request to you, the Council. This request is the withdrawal of the standing Elven relief force in Brandibuck itself. They feel that their presence is not only a threat to their existence, as it may draw the attention of Midor’s encamped army. Also that it may be time to allow Brandibuck to take hold of its problems by the horn, and allow them to solve them without further intervention.

Light be with you.

Humbly yours,

Markus Mortriety

((The following is common information))

Ferein's forces have withdrawn from Brandibuck and its environs, the Halflings once more bouncing back from disaster as they have countless times before and beginning work on repairing and renewing their village. The Elves were last seen crossing the Inner Sea, presumably to tend to Latonei and Mystic Woods.

The Aristi have centralised their forces in the now-abandoned Buckshire Trading Post, Heralds and Healers withdrawing from Icy Vale to join the survivors from Haven and other members on active duty.

There has been no movement from the Midoran forces. Anonymous rumours floating around Brandibuck whisper that the pall of smoke caused by the fires on the farmlands has dissipated.

Besieging the Halls of Bregodim

Two lists, Lucifer had requested. This was to be Salt's responsibility. His first responsibility.

The advantage that was held by those on the surface, spoke Xaranthir and spoke Lucifer, was the greatness of their mages. Some of the strongest and most proficient wizards in Vives were members of Ka'azim Tower, where the second convocation took place. So the first list would be of mustering mages.

Salt kept it in his head.

The second list would register the warriors, archers, killers and soldiers, fighting men and women who would do the hard work... after the Durzagon and few Atalan occupying the Halls of Bregodim had been trapped within its confines of stone. Teach them a lesson, spoke Lucifer, so that they never attack the surface again. Kill all but one, to carry the message of fear.

Two weeks. This had been concluded at the second convocation at Ka'azim Tower, that the seige must begin within two weeks time. Well, that was arbitrary. Point was, it had to happen.

Time then to muster and undertake this terrible task. The first in a series of battles that would decide things, once and for all.

((Alrighty - I'm suggesting Sunday next weekend, May 20, time TBD. Maybe around 8:00 PM GMT if folks in the States can play during the afternoon. That's more than two weeks, but this weekend I'm travelling.))

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about dying."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means lying in the ground with dirt on your face and holding your breath forever."

((With as much notice as you've given, the time's fine for me. If it does come to rescheduling, weekend evenings are my favorite, though I do seem to find myself on Vives until 2 AM on a lot of weeknights too. Weekday days mean I can't be there without faking an illness. (MST times, GMT - 7) ))

))PLAN! What Plan? Show me the Rebel plans! I can probably make it... but I'll be an hour late too. We should really just schedule for 9:00 PM.... I'm sure its already crazy late for the Europeans anyways, the coffee could keep them going another hour easy.((
