IC? The vein has dried up apparently.

OOC? The wold is growing and that adamantium was placed pre HOTU days when the challenge level was different for that location.

Now that the world is larger, it has been moved to a more appropriately difficult place a little farther off the beaten track that is more suitable for the benefits that admantium will bring as and when I update the crafting.

Other resources will be moved around as and when I determine where they are best placed. Other new resources will appear, etc, etc, yada, yada.

In short, FOIG.

I've been longing for some Iron in the North...

As for the Adamantium.. I blame myself... I've easily harvested a good 20,000 lbs of Raw Adamantium Ore from that vein in Daimon's smithing Career.

Yes, I am finally getting off my buttocks and making some updates to CNR

Wood Crafting Updates

Arrows and Bolts are about to get reworked. I've just started defining the changes. The idea will be to make:

- bolts and arrows a little less tedious to make

- more interesting in that what you can make will match (roughly) what you can purchase in the stores, or perhaps be slight better than what you can find in the stores

- will be hooked into enchanting to make them even more interesting and produce things that cannot be purchased.

As I make the changes to arrows and bolts, you might find the recipies broken. Don't worry about this and dont send me a bug report until I ask for it (as I know at this point what I am breaking).

Enchanting Updates

Enchanting has been reset to the default CNR

...until the system is reworked.

You will at least ge the chance to produce something useful during the interm period

Are these changes to be implemented anytime soon? *wince* not to bug you or anything, but Daimon's business was going to launch off again, and many customers are wondering about Enchanted weapons. Re-targetting the Shields would be convenient as well. Always wanted to see a lightning shield. Just take out the Non-compatible versions of the old Armor system (Kite shields, bucklers, just use the Small Large and Tower versions)

Just curious.

No rush Paul, but please check into some of the crafted bows as well. Some have "Extra Ranged Damage: Piercing" which is rather silly because bows already do piercing damage. The only end it might serve is to increase the price of the weapon for selling, but I don't think that this is the goal of crafting. Others might need examining as well. Till then, I'll foam at the mouth in anticipation.

Do not ask of them questions. You will receive three answers, all of which are true and horrifying to know.

CNR Updates - v2-87-4

CNR updates to wood crafting - arrows

- disabled the existing woodcrafting items

- added in arrows, lots and lots of arrows

- arrows will tie into enchanting later to make some of them more interesting.

Please feel free to test and tell me what what works and what doesnt.

(existing crafters with components - you may find your existing components are no longer "valid". If so, post the name of those items here, and I will update the CNR converter to change them into the current versions)

Ok maybe i am doing something wrong but the bench still does not register the feathers needed to make arrows.

Hey, Conn, make sure you're grabbing the CNR feathers and not the HOTU crafts feathers.

For the short term? you won't.

It's a CNR cleanup and all must go to the new, improved, CNR Version X+1.

Tell me the exact name of the feathers you are using. Unless I know what you are trying to use, I cannot tell if it is a bug, or you are using old feathers that are no longer part of the recipie.

I used the feathers that i took from a raven... It says it requires feathers from a raven. The exact name is just Feathers. They are not the Hotu one because they do not have the unique power command attached.

The feathers are correct. I am making all feathers generic to simplify the system somewhat.

Can you tell me:

1/ what device you were trying to use that required the ravens feathers?

2/ what item you were trying to make?

3/ where the device is located? (we might have some way old cnr devices that are not using the current CNR code and I need to make sure this is not the case)

I was trying to make regular crushing arrows. I was using the bench in the Latonai Oak House.

Ok,

I have check the code and all appears to be fine. The bench is also correct in the oakhouse.

Since I cannot get IG, I need exact specifics so I can isolate the problem.

1/ When you access the crafting menu, what exact entries come up initially? (there should only be two - Timbers and Arrows)

2/ When you say you are crafting "regular crushing arrows" can you tell me the exact name as I have three types. Are they "Arrows, Crushing" or "Arrows, of Crushing" or "Arrows, of Great Crushing"?

3/ How do you access this menu? (for example it should be Arrows, Journeyman, Arrows, Crushing for the first type of crushing arrows

4/ What ingredients are asked for for the crushing arrows? (for the arrows, crushing, it should be masterwork arrows, ingot of iron).

5/ is there anything you can make? (normal arrows? masterwork arrows?)

Ok Pd i have tried it and it all works now.. there are two major bugs though.

1. The new crafted items come unidentified. Such as the arrowheads and the arrows themselves.

2. The new arrows after creation do not stack. This is a big problem because they come in 99 sets. I made 6 portions and they all came in singles as in the bench said i crafted 594 items. This created the area i was in to become choppy and it took a good ten minutes for Conn to drop all the 594 arrows. Also the arrows come unidentified as well.

I have only tried to make the masterwork arrows so far so those are the only ones i know for sure are working.
