Hey thanks Vulpina. You've been very welcoming to a new player, and its really been appreciated. Also, you seem to be the only person capable of deciphering Londo-speak. The discussion in Icy Vale where Nadia was translating for Talion was very fun for me. Much gratitude also to Talion and Nadia for the mind-boggling generosity. Thanks also to Elghinn for somehow keeping me alive the other day, that chap who told the story on the plains (Dasefilo was the login name, I think), Talion, ...

<quote> great fun with Londo and his entertaining accent the other day in Icy Vale. thanks for your patience ((ic and ooc)). also, thanks to Vulpina (Nadia) for the casual concern for understanding and (Balthor) for the jokes and Wizard Wheat Ale. i've been getting to do more casual RP like that recently, and am loving it. you all put the RP in what can pass as an adventure game and make playing a genuine experience. . Nick C</quote> I really enjoyed it too. I usually feel the ...

<quote>Well, ... Since many others have had the (in)opportunity to meet him, and are commenting, I'll comment on him now... *winks at AW* Londo: I have to say, his RP an antics are hilarious. I particularly enjoyed his first meeting with Vulpina and all the Womanizing, Bad Ettiquette, Bad Speech, Poor Communication, and Utter frustration on Kal's part trying to convince him as to why armour IS indeed necessary. The disgusting pick-up lines had me rolling too! A wonderful character ...

I should have wrote this yesterday, when I had just finished the ogre/troll trip, but a belated shoutout to Isiolia, Bidee, Quella, and Nero for some great RP and all-round fun last night. There are times in the game when a group sort of gels and just flows naturally through events in the game, and the crypt dive followed by the ogre and troll bashing was just one of them. I didn't notice the time passing until it was rather late, and just had great fun. *nodwink* -AW

I'll send a shoutout back at you Ebeast/Roland. I wasn't sure whether we'd live through that trip either. Despite his bluster, Londo's a ponce. Your OOC insights were impressive. Enough said there. Thanks for the fun, -AW P.S. Regarding Londo-speak: Slarlar = Slowly Starp = Stop Trarp = Trap Arts nart gard = That's not good Harlp marr arm dararn harr = Help me I'm dying here That's all you really need. The rest is drivel anyhow ;)

Well, a sappy thank you to DSM IV, aka Ophelia, for helping to put Lucius'/Londo's story to bed. The Sugar Man angle was a nice touch. Lucius could not have had a better friend. Now its time for me to spend about a month practicing chess and come back at ya...somewhere. I will prevail. To Josaphine: elves and humans are always a bad mix. Its a Vives lesson we are all forced to learn at some point. Cheers, Arrogant Worm/Robber Baron

<quote>[ I have to admit, Londo was one of Balthor's favourite people. It's a shame to see him go. Never had a clue you guys were the same person, although in retrospect, it was odd that Lou stopped showing up at around the same time Londo appeared. ]</quote> One of the best things that happened to me as Londo was that I got to see another side of you, Rob, honestly. Lucius and Balthor so often had friction between them, that I never really got to know you, the guy behind the ...

Re: Dark Son Rising 12/7/2006 2:17:37 AM   (Total replies: 0)
Londo Demset, the 'dark son' of a Midoran paladin and a common woman from the slums of Port Royale, had teetered on the edge of the void for three days now, ever since he'd murdered his half-brother. The void was a dangerous place to stay, as, although it emptied one of feeling, it dulled all of one's other senses as well. Londo worked his way deeper into the sewers, oblivious to the fact that he'd just walked in carrying a large sack over his shoulder in broad daylight, oblivious to the ...

Londo walks by, casually glancing at the posted advertisment, frowning at the charcoal smudge and leaning closer to smell it. "Arts Marss Nardyar whart rart thart," he says quietly to himself, then looks longingly at the advertisement. "Tar bard, harr sarnds lark a rart prarpa fallar. 'Ets whart prarpa fallars dar...ar bart har darsn' arvarn warr a drar...rarb. Marba arr bars' larv mar narm." He then rips a piece of parchment from the advertisement and looks around for a quill, ...
