Unless a book is inciting racial hatred and religious intolerance i always think 'fair enough write what you like' after all 'we' the consumer do not have to buy it.
JKR is a talented writer and her books are fun and exciting and inspire children to READ.. thats a good thing.
Any moron calling for the banning of her books citing that they are promoting witchs and wizards must perforce be 1/ a moron of the lowest kind. 2/ a bigot. 3/ jealous of her success; and 4/a moron....

There are two distinct Guk Necksqeezer’s.
The first while being dumb as an ox and twice as big is not totally stupid in his natural state.
Once he learns a skill Guk can become very adept at it particularly if it requires little actual thinking, and even if his speech patterns are somewhat grating to other more scholarly ears - those whose intellects would look down upon him with supercilious disdain are making a mistake.

My pc finally died sunday which it had been threatening to do for about 3 weeks; so sorry to all that Katya has not been about.
Fortunately i have been saving for a year to get a new pc made up [me and my mate make our own] and I had just got the money together and so we are ordering the parts in about 7 days time.
So its a bit of serendipity that i had the foresight to save for a new pc to run nwn2 on.

We've know about it for some time, and there's been tons of posts on the Bioware boards ;)
It basically means that we'll have to trim down the amount of exterior areas in Vives 2, probably by making full use of the World Map that ships with NWN2 (think similar to Baldurs Gate).
50 mid-sized exterior areas could take up to 1GB, all of which would have to be held in the servers RAM (at present anyway).... Interiors aren't as big an issue, so we can ... |

I have always thought the character alignment idea was cute.
It does not however compute well into a world where XP = levelling and can limit a chars progression.
As to RL transferring into the game? God I hope not or there are a lot of us with serious issues going on in our lives :)
Ethics is a hugely complicated subject, and while I agree that in some ways the ethic's of a man are subject to his/her cultural background one thing in my long years remains true no matter the ... |
