1.Re: Favorite Vives moments?
Posted by Veran on 1/28/2010 2:20:31 PM
I think I really enjoyed Daimon running for Mayor. I actually thought I had a chance too. Everyone showed me a lot of support, even though a lot of Daimon's old clique weren't around anymore, (nor had they returned yet)

I think I enjoyed Vives the most During my moments with the Archers, you know who you are. The whole process was thoroughly enjoyable, and I am honored by the original invitation.

Ultimately, I'd like to thank the DM's and the cast of PC's that went along ...

... Pfft!

Daimon just got to effortless sooner... that's all... elven Superiority and everything... go back to wizardry!

Besides, had I spent as much time on Daimon going past.... what.... the end?... as I instead divulged into Sywyn, imagine where he'd be then.... hmm? *points at Sywyn*

Besides, everyone knows I haven't seriously played Daimon for longer than a check-in for almost 2 years.

Well... Pfft!

Thanks to Mykal for his Twisted trial, and, as always, to his efforts to tear my PC's minds apart. Well, Him and his colleagues... My Girlfriend and I were laughing out the Outrageousness! Flound!
I look forward to a new life with .... *shifty eyes* That character.

Hooray for Fixxy, I felt lame for taking so long to set up, but once things were organized, it was a fun market to be in. I would have taken screenshots, but I'm afraid of the kind of reactions I might get from the community when they see my graphics... *frowns*

I definitely agree, Fixxy has been doing some great stuff recently. I wish I could be more a part of some of them, due to the excellence that I have seen, but, unfortunately, I don't live in her timezone and lack paladins! ...

Shoutouts to Calmeir for Welcoming me to Vives and telling me about the wonders of Smithing. *thumbs up* Though I never though he'd get red hair, lose his hands, and end up marrying a Shadowdancing Guy... *shrugs*

We should collect a bunch of Miscelleous essential information and stick it in one post in the essential information. Stuff that is important given the circumstanes, but not important enough to have it's own bold print at the top of some forum....

This would be a one of many good things to stick in there.
Along with the dropping stuff in the ooc lounge...
Or spell components required to scribe certain scrolls *grins*

Just a few thoughts.. I bet we could whip up a ...

Petrification, the transformation from flesh to stone, in Vives, is now permanent

Also, since you are technically still alive while petrified, you cannot respawn.

Hey, that will teach me to come up with an idea without doing my HW first...

HERE is a thread just like the one I suggested.

Yeah
Heck.. it even has some of the suggestions I ... suggested.

When you become petrified, the respawn option is not available, because, I guess, one is not necessarily dead yet, should a Stone to flesh spell be cast. Thus, our friend is not able to begin his life anew from the seven sisters.

Zoren, My advice is, wait for a reset, and log back on... the medusa will be back, and without your wolf around, she'll probably just kill you.

After dying for Real, you can hit the respawn button, eat the penalties, and continue your Druidic ...

Hey, that will teach me to come up with an idea without doing my HW first...

That's fine Veran, I'd forgotten that was there too!

I can add some of this stuff to that other thread when we've finished here

As far as PvP and petrifcation goes, I've seen players a few times RP chipping away at a PC to get rid of the effect. As long as it's RPed it's fine.

You know I was 100% expecting some promise release on the 1st this year, I think this is the first Fool's day when we didn't all behave fooooolishly.

As for all my geek points, I've been min maxing in music, and I'm going to have to wait for a few levels to progress beyond cell expression formulas in microsoft access ...

Daimon walked past the Door to the the Guyver's hall, head tilted slightly, allowing the rain to collect and stream off of his large black hat. Smiling, he buttoned the surcoat around his waist, to keep the cold and rain out, tapped a rapier hilt on his belt with a thumb absently, and whistled the first three haunting notes of a song named "Money for Nothin'"
