Just wanted to say hi to everyone, I am enjoying irc and the forum very much. And vives is an awesome awesome world. Its giving me a chance to build on a character of mine that I've had since I was in middle school :). so this is just a post to say hi and thankyou everyone so much for making vives what it is. |

I just saw the new harry potter movie and I was wondering if anybody else felt a little let down? don't get me wrong I thought as movies go it was pretty decent but I think I shot myself in the foot by reading the books before watching the movie this time around and it wasn't as enchanting as the first three.... :( |

The following are excerpts from a journal amroth kept for some time. The reader will note fairly quickly that the writings are more of a reaction to things, a delving into the mind or a medium that the writer found to vent feelings towards events that he seldom names.
The first thing the reader sees when opening the journal is what appears to be a poem. The meaning of which is unclear....

For a time it would have seemed that I had found direction, That I once again had a way to travel, a purpose if you will.. unfortunatley this purpose has been lost. I am ... shall we say rudderless. Where too from here? I don't know it seems to not matter much. I should find this unfortunate I suppose but I have been here before so often in the past year that it appears to be my lot in life. I could speak of despair, lost hope, an aching saddness that never seems to heal, but I've known them ... |

Amroth finished reading and snapped the little black book shut with a shake of his head. "Next thing you know i'll be spilling my heart out to some fool woman." he mutters to himself. He stands swiftly stuffing the book into a small pack and slings a black cloak over his shoulders, placing a broad brimmed hat on his head and turns toward the sunset.
