1.Re: Port Royale's First Ever Winter Ball

*gasp*

So I DIDN'T miss it?

(Callia seems all a flutter as she cleans her one and only ball gown.)

"Now," she thinks to herself, "if only someone will just invite me . . . . ."

*On a regular morning, as Aldred walks along the streets of Midor, on his way to his prayers to Temple Midoran, he suddenly spots Callia around the corner. Smiling, he corrects his simple clothes, and walks over to her...*

Greetings, and a fair morn to thee, Lady Callia.

Now, hrm... *Apparently, he's trying really hard not to sound too nervous, as he flexes a little and his eyes twitch a bit* I've been wanting to ask you, m'Lady... I hear there's ...

The concept of boats is very exciting. Perhaps I have missed it in the string and if I have forgive the duplication, but would a boat large enough to live on BE livable upon. In otherwords, could I buy a boat and learn to sail and live in it down at the docks. I would gladly give up my room at the Unicorn for that.

To me. it also seems like it would be an aid to get folks to work together more. Instead of getting all grumpy and out of sorts as I and others do because there are no ...

Callia smiled to herself and blushed at the thoughts floating unchecked to the surface of her mind.

A night of bardic revelry . . . song and laughter, cares set aside for even one evening.

Perhaps that would be just what was needed. Maybe she would see if the bards gather there regularly, maybe the Four Winds was a center for that.

She would have to revisit the inn and see.

I can be patient on this and if we do institute boats would love to buy a boat large enough to live on. I am renting in Midor now and can continue there until boats are instituted (if ever)

Otherwise, a nice little cottage in the Great Plains would be nice.

I have nothing to donate to the auction except my interest in obtaining certain items. Please post a day/time for this.

A pair of caps +1 charisma might be nice. Not an "uber" item but a nice little perk that would not interfere with items already owned since I know of few magic helms.

And so begins the ressurection. The time has come, and perhaps the right one to lead as well.

I must seek out my friend, Dina, and offer my help.

I actually really liked his RP'd "stiff knee from traveling". I thought it spoke well for someone on their first night of online RP play. Yes, keying another action might have caused the jumpiness.

Welcome my friend. We have much more taveling to do.

Well, here is my food related "oops", but it does not entail cooking.

When I lived in Houston my spouse and I ordered a box of fillets from Omaha Steaks. These are mail order high quality beefproducers that are nationally, or perhaps even internationally, known for quality, but at a price. The package duly arrived and I looked in the shipping carton and saw 2 packets inside. One was a simple brown paper wrapped parcel-like object and the other was a beautifully designed, (I ...

But you can wash, rinse and repeat to become good.

Somehow, repeating your response does not make it any more reasonable.

But it certainly bothers me in that I am halfway to unmonkfulness and see no way to redress it. I have been playing so lawful I even teach new players to close DOORS after themselves in the crypts so the undead can't wander the halls and ambush future travelers, but I still haven't seen any law points come around knocking on my door . . .
