I usually read people's IC posts because I either enjoy the quality of the writing [and there are a LOT of good writers on these forums], and the story, or because I have a narcissistic desire to see Lucius's name in print. For those reading this who are of the narcissistic persuasion, give me a bit of time. I am probably summarizing about 24 hrs. of my IG time in ... |

The point I was trying to make in the original post is that if a PC has 6hp's at full health as a level 1 mage, or 500hp's as an epic barbarian, if they are showing a wound on their status bar then they are wounded. A badly wounded level 1 wizard is going to be feeling as bad in themselves as a badly wounded epic barb. The fact that one lost 300hp's and the other lost 3 is irrelevant.
I completely disagree.
An epic ... |
| 3. | From the Port Royale Tribune! Crazed Barbarian Dies! Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/28/2005 11:44:43 AM Hot off the presses and into your hand!
Earlier this day in Port Royale a beast like man who had apparently killed somone earlier that day died! Witnesses claim the man called him self Torim! Other claim they were to afraid to even hear his name! Witnesses also state that after the beast man killed himself outside of the Port Royale Guard House a figure dressed in blue was seen, picking up the body and taking it out of the City Walls!
In other news Miggins Pie's shop was ... |
| 4. | Shifter Lore? Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/25/2005 10:45:58 AM Does anyone know where I might find some lore on shifters? I am really having a hard time making a character for that class. I would really appreciate any help, such as what gods they worship, where they get their powers and so on... I created one shifter before, Tamer, but I knew nothing about the class so it was hard to Role-play him.
Thanks in advance. |
| 5. | They called him the "Beast that Walks Upright" Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/17/2005 11:30:26 PM Abandoned at birth in the buckshire swamps, Torim had to leave his human life behind and pick up a completely feral exsistence. His human mind completely gone, Torim has become an animal in his own right. Over the years Torim became well known among the local rangers, known as the wolf that walks up right. Eventually a druid was able to tap into his animal mind, he was named Torim by the nature walker.
Soon the druid tamed the beast, releasing the child like man from his instincts. ... |

| 7. | Its a conspiracy... Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/5/2005 12:02:45 AM *Stands in yet another disguise his face completely hidden.* I had just finished slaying the great medusa of the ruined tower, finding there the body of a father... I quickly rushed down the tower to tell the child the good news. He began to cry, his crying made me angry, he should be thankful to free of such a shackel, so I slit his throw and freed him of his mortality... Then I began my walk to the Four Inns tavern to rest, when suddenly Shira the horse tamer comes out of no where and kills ... |
| 8. | Lore Question Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/4/2005 9:15:19 AM What gods do Druids worship? Thank you in advance. In the gods page it did not say wether or not a druid could worship them. Such as Syn or Menarok, can a druid worship those? |
| 9. | Re: Lore Question Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/4/2005 9:34:22 AM Its funny that you say that, because I plan on taking the shifter class. So its okay for me to use Menarok, just act like I am not a druid at all? |
| 10. | Large problem Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/4/2005 10:42:09 AM I am walking through the fourwinds Inn area when a skeleton runs up and kills me in two shots... Why is this skeleton here? It doesen't seem fair to put such an enemy at the starting zone...
Well now it seems that two skeletons are in the starting zone, I still lie dead. I hope this can be resolved. |
| 11. | Re: Large problem Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/4/2005 10:49:17 AM Shall I respawn? Shall I wait for the skeletons to be vanquished? I really don't want to lose any of my Discovery Exp that I just spent the morning getting. |
| 12. | Re: Large problem Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/4/2005 10:57:04 AM Well I respawned, from the looks of it I only lost a hundred or so EXP, I just want those skeletons gone so I can bring water to shira. |
| 13. | Re: Large problem Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/4/2005 11:00:59 AM It may have been less, I was just guessing the amount taken. |
| 14. | Re: Large problem Posted by RobbyD3000 on 12/4/2005 12:10:10 PM Wow! Zero EXP taken? Haha, I got all excited over nothing. Heh, still getting used to this games death and such, I came from Elder Grow and if you died there, you would be knocked down at least two levels, no matter what level you are at. |
