Large problem Posted: 04 Dec 2005 10:42 AM |
I am walking through the fourwinds Inn area when a skeleton runs up and kills me in two shots... Why is this skeleton here? It doesen't seem fair to put such an enemy at the starting zone...
Well now it seems that two skeletons are in the starting zone, I still lie dead. I hope this can be resolved. |

| Shall I respawn? Shall I wait for the skeletons to be vanquished? I really don't want to lose any of my Discovery Exp that I just spent the morning getting. |

| You can either respawn or wait for a cleric to find you, and hope he feels kind enough to raise a stranger. I'd go with respawning. It might suck, especially under those circumstances, but you won't lose that much XP anyway, considering your character was low level enough to die to a skeleton in two shots. |

You probably have about 1000 to 2000 exp? That's a respawn cost of 30-60 EXP.
If there is a DM ingame, they might be able to help. |

| Well I respawned, from the looks of it I only lost a hundred or so EXP, I just want those skeletons gone so I can bring water to shira. |

It was 0.
Below a certain level, respawns cost no xp.
The new character, Tamer, was below that level.
Other than that, the rest is covered in the essential information forums, here.

In such a case, I would seek help.
There are NPCs and other players who would be willing to help if you ask.

| Wow! Zero EXP taken? Haha, I got all excited over nothing. Heh, still getting used to this games death and such, I came from Elder Grow and if you died there, you would be knocked down at least two levels, no matter what level you are at. |
