Well, I'm relatively new and find it hard going as a Wizard. I'm trying to party up where possible and have had some excellent responses to calls of help.

With this in mind, I've been trying hard to learn the new crafting skills when the approval of other game players doesn't allow me to explore and do things. But to even get some classic RP in here with becoming an apprentice seems limited as there are very few arcane PCs in my experience to ask about learning the various skills. ...
2.Server instability

This is not a complaint as such but more of a report.

Around this time the server has consistently reset about 4 times after about 5 - 10 mins, there is an average of 12 - 15 players.

Being relatively new to the server I'm unsure if this is "normal" or if following the update to 2-2 it has had an impact?

IMO it may be a fruitfull inclusion to allow an XP value upon the learning of a new spell into a characters spell book. Considering this involves the main aptitude of a wizards profession.

However, I do realise this would be unfair on Sorcerers who do not use this method in their learning of the weave.

Hmm... how to start?

I'm a newcomer to the vives and I'd like to generate some background to my character before starting out. For my RP fun and for others.

I'm thinking of either playing an atypical elven ranger or sorcerer to start my experience of the game world but as it is not something I can research elsewhere I was hoping that the gaming community could suggest a few ideas to help me.
