| 1. | Re: Favorite Vives moments? Posted by Mykal on 7/15/2013 12:15:02 PM I have many, many memories. But one that sticks out right now was when I was a DM.
Ficcy, do you remember Miramil and the turtle? |
| 2. | Re: Would you like to play a game? Posted by Mykal on 7/19/2013 1:17:37 AM Yup. I'm in, if Henny can give me what I asked for. *looks expectantly at henusa*
Seriously, though, this would be fun. I look forward to getting the gang back together. |

Mr. Jessup,
I will meet you tonight in your office at 1 AM. Come alone. There is as task my associates and I would like to contract with your organization.

| 5. | Re: Muga Bugbreath...Childhood through early adolescence Posted by Mykal on 3/2/2004 1:00:21 PM Well written, if a little disturbing (orcish prostitutes are not something we think about in civilized society) |
| 6. | Re: Muga Bugbreath...Childhood through early adolescence Posted by Mykal on 3/3/2004 2:17:29 PM Maybe one day I'll stop being a bloody accountant and go back to writing
You and me both, man. Except for the accountant part. Still, I bet you live in a cube farm too.

| 7. | Re: Ilyana Fiirhaart - Part Eight The End (or the beginning) Posted by Mykal on 7/10/2004 6:08:38 PM She's selfish, delusional, vain, full of averace, petty, and hateful. She's a perfect example of true evil. Not over the top evil, or obvious evil, but subtle evil, the kind that you are unaware of that gnaws at your soul, and by the time you know it's there, it's too late.
Nicely done, Solitare. I think llyana would give Vidus a run for his money.

| 8. | Re: Ilyana Fiirhaart - Part Two Posted by Mykal on 4/26/2004 2:52:14 PM Now this is the seeds of true evil.
Well done. I can honestly say I look forward to more.

| 10. | Re: DMs: Trent Posted by Mykal on 2/21/2005 1:37:31 PM I noticed today that Trent is still Lawful Good. He logged before I could change him When someone sees him next, preferably Barnas, give him an appropriate alignment hit.

| 11. | Re: DMs: Trent Posted by Mykal on 2/19/2005 10:35:16 AM In an attempt to bring this to some sort of close (Trent wasn't actually doing anything about Jet, nor were any other players) I had Jet steal the Emperor, and demand Trent in return for it.
To an extent, I expected the players to fight Jet off (She was blatently no match for the group of PCs present). However, WA expressed an interest in Trent falling for a time.
When the players did absolutely bugger all except handing Trent over, I decided to ... |
| 12. | Re: DMs: Trent Posted by Mykal on 1/26/2005 2:40:18 PM What's a rogue vampiress? She has a rouge class, or is she outside the normaly Syn paradigm? |
| 13. | Re: DMs: Trent Posted by Mykal on 1/26/2005 2:43:59 PM Hey Pdawg, why don't we give Trent a little boost in confidence for his paladinness? Can you give him an opprotunity to do something "good" today? It can be as simple as helping an orphan (perhaps a child in similar situations he was in as a child.)
This is a start. It can be escalated later by having that same child wander off to the Midor Crypts in the hopes of emulating ... |

Hey there volks,
Well, after a grueling planning meeting that accomplished very little, I think we're actually ready to make a run at Aboddan.
I'm just starting to confirm this time with everyone involved, but would the DM talent be ready if ... |
| 15. | Re: DMs: Death Drinker Posted by Mykal on 6/22/2006 4:17:43 PM Okay, I'm a fool for opposites. I openly and blatantly admit that like the idea of anti-paladins. I secrently enjoyed the Mirror Universe. And I still swoon when I see KARR.
That being said, is there a polar opposite of Death Drinker? A sword that can counter this vicious creation? Cause if there ... |
| 16. | Re: (some) DMs: Barnas does not have access to this forum Posted by Mykal on 4/12/2005 5:49:09 PM Mykal, FYI those who have already taken part
Miramil Jerome Vurbag Fri'el Jimmy Scarlett Jack Sprat Bereil Shihaya'zad
Probably best to avoid them for your group, anybody else is fair game
This is the pro-Gukathul group? Meaning if these guys get the soulstone, Guk wins and Fri'el's soul is lost. Or am I wrong?
Please forgive me, as I've said, I'm feeling stupid today. |
| 17. | Re: (some) DMs: Barnas does not have access to this forum Posted by Mykal on 4/12/2005 7:04:02 PM Only Jerome is pro Guk, the others are unaware of that, though Fri'el has her suspicions
((EDIT - they ARE the pro Guk group, Jerome is using them, they just don't know it :P))
I can get together a small Desthades's group, but it hardly seems necessary now to have two groups. It seems to me the one group, being duped by Jerome, is doing just fine. What I can do is get a single person or a few people to represent Desthades. They can ... |
| 18. | Re: (some) DMs: Barnas does not have access to this forum Posted by Mykal on 4/3/2005 5:36:54 PM So here is a status update on Gukathul:
Gukathul just spent the last several months carring around a Tear of Elbereth. The Tear has wounded him, as did an arrow from the bow of Aros. Gukathul now has a perminant wound on his forehead that constantly drips blood. He is weak, having just removed himself fromt he presence of the Tear.
I can't see why Gukathul would want to keep Fri'el's soul. It really has no intrinsic value as it is. I am creating some backstory here, ... |
| 19. | Re: (some) DMs: Barnas does not have access to this forum Posted by Mykal on 4/3/2005 5:45:23 PM That's a good question.
The best hook would come from Menarok through the party that he put a geas on. Menarok, through his various means, would know about Guk's condition, and perhaps he'd want to use this to press his advantage and get what he wants.
That would put the ball in Sirac's court to get those people with the geas (those that are left) together and telling them about the existance of the Soulstone. Once they know that, we can tailor the story to whatever ... |
| 20. | Re: (some) DMs: Barnas does not have access to this forum Posted by Mykal on 4/7/2005 10:42:03 AM And DB, are you good to run a mission for the anti-Guk group on a weekday next week, preferably at a time when us GMT'ers are long gone to sleep?
I'm free at 10 PM every night (4 AM GMT) so I can run something. Which PC's are in the anti-Guk group, or has that not yet been set?

| 21. | Re: (some) DMs: Barnas does not have access to this forum Posted by Mykal on 4/18/2005 8:59:59 PM Best not to have the two opposed. Make people wonder just why Midoran can help Menarok. And after all, Midoran's LG identity will not survive too long after he returns and crushes the rebels.

| 23. | Re: DM: Miramil Posted by Mykal on 3/12/2005 9:38:14 AM Miramil's been recurited by the Emissary of Undeath, Gabriel, to retreive the body of High Captian Jongras after he is executed. Here is her plan. I have to say, she rivals Johe:
Part 1
Miramil being Miramil, the plan is loose and adaptable. Here goes:
(1) Get squishified somewhere in the vicinity of Midor, where the survey team is sure to patrol.
(2) The staff at Midor Infirmary know her well so there's no point in getting a disguise or a ... |

| 25. | Re: DMs: Chief Posted by Mykal on 4/20/2004 12:46:08 PM Boy, looks like Alo and I are brining up all the old business today.
What's the status on this? I can't claim to have an opinion either way, as I haven't interacted with him in any significant fashion IG. I'll leave my vote at a nice, safe neutral.
If this matter is closed and we aren't going to extend Chief an invitation for DMing, the next logial questions are, do we intent on adding more DM's, and if so, who?
Sorry for being pushy, but each loose end we tie ... |
