*placed at the bottom of them*

Jack,

You claim I have something to hide. I do not.

If you wish to help the halflings, why are you not helping them? Us?

I have apologized for my words to Rasputin, though with Theus as my witness, his letters to me have not been written with a civil pen also.

I bid on behalf of the halfling people, and continue to do so. If your interest lies soley in the halflings, I beg to ask... why did you do nothing ...

Jack,

You are entitled to believe what you wish. If Theus feels my actions to be wrong, then he may smite me down.

The People of Brandibuck do not wish to see their kin used as pawns by one who admits that he wishes the artifacts of the archmage, and his coin.

I will not do this, nor will my kin see this happen.

The 11 million gold will be used to make Brandibuck a better place, and to ensure that we are never again abandoned by tall folk who jump at ...

You claim that humans are more likely to restore halflings to freedom than their own people?

We also do not soley care for our missing kin, much as they are important to us. For the knowledge of this archmage must be destroyed forever, lest these events happen again.

We also care to ensure that their items do not fall in the hands of fell parties. We will not see our kin used as a smokescreen for the gaining of the power of this archmage.

I do not wish to be ...

*notices placed next to the slate in the Trading Post, and Ye Hole in De Ground*

I have been bidding on behalf of a number of people who wish to see the halflings restored, including the people of Brandibuck themselves.

Our group also wishes to see Malakai Fenghuul given a proper burial, and never restored to life. His possessions will either be sold, and the gold given to the seven sisters, or donated to Ka'azim or Ladriel for study, so that good causes may gain from ...

Eleanor walks into Ye Hole in De Ground Inn with a warm smile on her face, and walks across to the slate. With a grin to Winky, she begins to write on the slate.

Ten Million gold pieces –Eleanor Thorn, the people of Brandibuck, and their benefactors

She then turns to the people gathered in the Tavern, bows her head, and walks out without a word

Eleanor notes the bid as she sits in Ye Hole in De Ground, calmly walks up to the slate and writes:

Eleanor is a crafter first, but she has adventuring levels as a side effect of that. The only time she gets XP is when she crafts. (And I think she gets quite a bit of it.)

So why shouldn't she be able to make really useful items, if it's the focus of her life?
