An update on where I am Posted: 12 Oct 2007 05:34 AM |
As people may have noticed, Ashe hasn't appeared on Vives in quite a while. I thought I would explain why and what I am going to do.
I have just started university, studying Physics and there have been several problems with accomodation. I am currently living in an apartment 12 miles away without the internet or a phone - almost completly incommunicado. Because of this I can't get my laptop online unless I am at the university where the network settings wont let me play games. On top of this, the computer I have everything Vives related on is dying, people may have noticed that occasionally I would drop from the game in the middle of something - it wasn't my connection, it was my laptop burning out. Today, I am ordering a new computer, a desktop that can run NWN2, I will definatly be joining Vives 2 when it is completed (I am currently working on the character that I will play as - I need to check about the lore of Vives 2 that puts restrictions on the playable classes.) Now, I have lost the installation discs for NWN1, I only have the HotU disc to hand. For this reason I probably won't now come onto Vives 1 again, unless I happen to find someone else with the original that doesn't mind me using their discs, which would lock their CDnumber off the internet.
So... I don't think it's likely that you will see Ashe around again, I could try and come up with an IC reason for his disappearence if anyone wants one. I enjoyed my time playing Vives and really look forward to Vives 2 which I imagine will be more vibrant and hopefully better populated. :D |
