The Port Royale Chess House

How about a Static quest based around a chess tournament? It would be impractical to program a whole chess game into vives, But perhaps a quest could be based around say a chess clock that had been tampered with, or a chess puzzle set by an NPC that characters could solve in dialog?

I presume when you say program a whole chess game you mean the AI as the mechanics are already there. Ashe played a game against a character called Saana and was butchered (8 wisdom all the way!).

Did we play chess? I need to upgrade my organic RAM. I seem to have CRS these days.

The idea of a quest based around the chess house is an interesting idea. I think that Static quests extend well beyond the builders' to do list these days, but it would be fun if a DM or Player ran a chess focused event.

I think the chess house is a fun gathering place. Lots of opportunity for intrigue amongst the spectators, while watching two players compete on the board.

Perhaps a wealthy player could hold a tournament with a prize for the victor.

They are rather large chess pieces, wouldn't it be hard to lose them?

And I think it's descrimination that halflings are the weaker pieces.
