the littlest amnesiac

She woke up in a shadowy room. At first she could barely see, just red, and black, and red again, as her head throbbed painfully. She tried to sit up, but as soon as her head had lifted from the soft pillow, she slipped away from consciousness again.
The next time she awoke, Bidee (which she now remembered was her name) could see the sillouette of a lady standing over her. Her head still hurt, but her vision was returning. As 'the groggies' (as she called it, anyway) went away, she began to ask questions.
A masked human had left her on the doorstep of the order of the sisters. Nobody at the order knew the man, but they nursed Bidee back to health, because thats just what they do.
Once Bidee was feeling well enough to go out again, she discovered that nobody in Port knew who she was. She realized that aside from her name, and obvious features, she had no idea who she was either.
Though the sisters told her it was amnesia, the strange green tint to her skin that faded from her skin as she recovered told her that perhaps the bump of her head might not have anything to do with her loss of memory. Bidee thought she heard the word whispered in the shadows.. "poison." |
