Unless I'm misunderstanding the question, I think it would help you to know that your forum name doesn't have to match your gamespy logon ID to be able to play :)
Hope that helps!!

Correct. You can log in with any gamespy logon name, and the CD key remains the same, and it's the CD key that gets tracked / logged.
So while it is helpful when people have the same game log in name as their forum name, it is not necessary.
We know who you are. *menacing laugh*
[edit] The only time it becomes a problem (and even then it is a pretty simple fix) is when you do a new install of NWN, and it generates a different key. (at least, I'm assuming that's how it works. pdw will tell us if that is right or not)
So then, since Dark2242 was your first app, and has already been voted on by some of the DM's, we'll probably be keeping that one and brush the new one (Dark22422) under the table.
But you can feel free to use either forum name you like (I assume you want to use the Dark22422 one) and both names will be attached to the Dark2242 application, and everything will be fine.
(and again, I'm not the last word on this, but I'm pretty sure thats how it will go) |
