Subject: Port Royal Days
Message: [Message Sent to All DMs]

P&J would like to commerate the greatness that is Port Royal with a Port Royal days celebration. Naturally it will look like i simple festival much like the one in Buckshire. However there are different motives of course. Firstly there will be competitions. Those that cater to the more ill habits of people. Drinkingg, gambling, pride etc....id like to have a beauty pagent as well. Lets just say i want the people to have a real, real good time. Procceds from the festival will go to helping the poor and jobless in a way that only P&J can offer. Id like to open the Pickston Rickticks Halfway House. A place where people can get a free hot meal and learn skills(*cough*) to get them fine jobs. This will also of course be the Hands way of recruiting and spreading the word of Menerok in subtle ways. Id like to staff it with the demons in the guise of humans.

Let me know what you all think if this is possible.

Cheers!

Jessup has been informed by one of his spies that Karli is interested in the purchase of the Manor. He is looking into his contacts within the magistrate to keep on eye on any purchases of any buildings within the Port from this day on. He doesnt intend to stop the purchase....just keep an eye on it. He was also briefed on serveral contingency plans should this one fail. In short he is going to sit back and keep a closer eye on the paladins as well as Karli.

heh.. yeah, I was talkin to Chief about ideas for PR days... and I was just itchin to say something like "you'll be able to do all that and more... if/when..."

kept my mouth shut though. *looks around for the little angel smiley, but gives up*

You all realize that the Black Hand is -really- going to come into power if he -does- want to DM... right?

Though, as I think about it, it could be fun trying to think of ways for the Hand to "loose some battles"

I'm sure we can keep it interesting

[Edit]: And I think Chief would have a good sense of how to "play the bad guys" (like Sirac had... and I don't think I do) I can play a good right hand man (or gal, as the case may be) but he's got the boss thing down.

One for the public.

The DM team got accused of a lot of stuff that was actually Chiefy's doing, and he was doing it all entirely in-character using only intel available to Jessup. Haha! I've lost count of the PMs sent to the DM team asking "why are the bad guys winning and always one step ahead of us?!" without realising that Jessup basically had a finger in every pie and that nearly the entire player base was on his spy network.

On the side of the good guys, the Fire Knives and Guyvers were there to keep him in check, but I don't think it ever occurred to them that they should have been trying to exploit Jessup's uncontrollable curiosity…
