Event: First-ever Vives-101! - Hostess: Aria - Date/Time: Sunday, 19th October 2003, 11:00-PST / 14:00-EST / 19:00-GMT - Duration: 1 Hours - Openings: Unlimited (New players in Vives are highly encouraged to attend) Note: This session is also available to those who have net yet registered) - Synopsis: This is an Out-of-Character tutorial for Vives. It composes of 4 main-sections...
(i) GadgetUsage, which introduces you to the number of widgets and wands available for Vives,
(ii) FeaturesSession, which introduces you to a number of features in Vives that you may or may not know (e.g., VoiceEmotes / Crafting),
(iii) Roleplay guidelines (e.g., what is / isn't acceptable roleplay; what the speaking channels are for), and
(iv) a brief Vives geography introduction.
Please sign-up in this thread so I know how many to anticipate. More sessions will be held at regular intervals should it prove useful.

| Darn, this sounds like a great idea, but I'm going to the mountains to look at leaves and most likely wont be back in time--maybe there could be another session sometime. |

Note the time-change due to conflict with thr Trial. The tutorial have been push ahead 1 hour.
As for the grading scheme, there's no midterm or final. You -only- need to produce a paper no less than 50 and not exceeding 75 pages; font-8 single-spaced 1-inch margin. The deadline is a week after the day the course started. If you have any questions, you can contact the departmental secretary. |
