Sender: Robber Barron Receiver: Fictrix Sent: 22/06/2006 3:20:44 PM Received: Subject: Meeting Lex Message: [Message Sent to All DMs]
Jessup asked/told Lucius to go meet Lex to find out what can be done to retrieve the Death Drinker. If anyone has time to be Lex in the next few days, it would be great. I'm available North American evenings. (midnight GMT onwards)
Thanks a bunch :),

Lex is a lazy coward. He'd probably rattle off the names of those who took DD off his hands and say, they know how to safely transport the thing, go ask them.
Off the top of my head, I can only remember Alton, Balthor and Tomi. |

| I often see him IG - if I do I'll catch him and spill the beans. |

Okay, I'm a fool for opposites. I openly and blatantly admit that like the idea of anti-paladins. I secrently enjoyed the Mirror Universe. And I still swoon when I see KARR.
That being said, is there a polar opposite of Death Drinker? A sword that can counter this vicious creation? Cause if there is, Barnas, then I'd love to see it IG. You know, handed to some noble knight of a fledgling order and have that brave knight charged with destroying Death Drinker.
You know who I'm talking about. Cedysen, of course!

I'm, amusingly, not actually a huge expert on the background of the Death Drinker. I understand it, but I'd point to Paul as the real expert.
However, asofar as I do understand it, the Death Drinker is as much of a product of a unique and bizzare series of events as an intent to forge it, and as such isn't really something that could *have* an opposite- a sword posessed by an angel obsessed with smiting evil is all I can really see.

I wrapped this plot up today.
The PCs, stunningly coming to their senses after Buckshire, made good on their deal with Natika, who returned the blade to the Gathering.
... in return for access to their Shadow Core SD mind control network. *snicker*

Background:
Death Drinker is a demon possessed sword that Numen released into the world for amusement. It had, for a time, possessed Kargus and it was during this time when Daimon lost his own sword.
Later, Death Drinker became free of Kargus and instead went on a killing spree around the land enjoying its new freedom. Eventually, the sword was defeated and captured.

One for the public forums.
PDW, you were wondering what had happened to Death Drinker. |

| My summary was amazingly short and undescriptive. :-\ |

| Ok, the last thing I can see on the DM forums is mention of the players planning to unleash Death Drinker upon Undraeth due to the Atalan invasion. As this never occurred, it would appear that it is still in the custody of The Gathering (mind-flayers). |
