Nooooooooooooo! I was gunning for you. Was going to fry you into little pieces. I was really really into that story arc of yours you were making.
Perhaps I should have broken server policy and ambushed you that day when I was invisibly spying on you and Tor in the cave.... Did you know I was there? I had spelled up my army of critters: two panthers and two badgers, was invisible myself, and was packing all combat spells (with just enough left over to make a run for it). Perhaps if I had stirred it up then you would've been more into this server. Don't know. dang. dang. dang. I had to pretend I was "scared" since ambushing doesn't work with the server's PvP protocol, and I slipped out before my army of animals was noticed. Because also in all reality I couldn't have taken the two of you without surprise on my side. But with that surprise I don't think you would've survived. HahaAHAHAHAHAH!
Just wanted to let you know that I was in on your story arc a bit more than you probably realized.
Would've been fun.... Sorry you are leaving. You should know that it prompted lots of roleplay between Macha and I, and stimulated my character's own development back toward's her faith. It was fun while you were here. |

agreed, Didn't know you were there. Woulda been fun... No you can't just ambush folks, but had you sent I or even Sparrow (not neccessarily both of us) a tell with your intent... can't speak for him, but I woulda been game for it. The whole issue of this, really is the maturity of the server. Evil for the sake of "hey I wanna kill that, lets kill that" doesn't work, evil with motivation and backed up with strong rp does... though we'll never find that out in this particular storyline. Glad to hear some players that -weren't- on the evil side were enjoying themselves as well. Maybe another time another day... Can assure you, Tor will wonder what happened to Sparrow and certainly come looking for answers :)... |

Yes. I discussed this with others yesterday as well. I am clearer on how to handle PvP now. If we had more time I am sure that those of us on different sides of this plot would've had the opportunity to discuss going hostile.
Discussing TheBravestLittleToaster's flakiness was all I did on the server yesterday. Turns out that he's done this before. I imagine that you and I were the most disappointed with this since I believe both of our charaters were entirely engrossed in the plot. Perhaps the best way to proceed is just to keep going, but without Sparrow. Everything hapened as we played it out, but he merely disappeared. Now we pick up the pieces for ourselves. |

| I was disappointed as well, but I understand Toaster's decition. Saying that, I can understand the DM's concerns about PvP. I came from a server that at one time did not like evil story lines. I am game to pick up the pieces, and if ever you want to attack any of my charictors it is welcomed. I like PvP as long as it is Rp'd, please just send me a tell. I do have faith in the Dm team of Vives, I know they will let evil plots grow, as long as they are not as Tigerlily puts it lets "just kill because we are evil". Servers with no evil charictors are not very fun. So if any of you goody, goodys catch me doing something that is all out evil feel free to engage me and bring me to justace! |

I know you have just given blanket permission, but please consider our PvP guidelines in our essential information forums.
A simple tell with a heads up is a start to the process.
What we do not want to see is out of control, tit for tat pvp. It more often than not ends up with unhappy players and can descend into griefing.
The server's pvp rules were the result of a *lot* of discussion and are actually more relaxed than our previous rules. Just the same, we would rather see it as the exception, rather than the rule.
