A weird hobby in Vives

I have this obsession that some people might call odd, but however much you want to roar or rampage about it, this gives me plenty satisfaction.
I'm constantly trying to add movie quotes into my dialogue. It's fun to try to find ways to do that. The hard part of course is that they must be appropriate in the situation and not look weird in any way. One can't just blurt them out anywhere.
Too bad I haven't compiled a list of the movies I've used already, but it's quite big already. I have at least a dozen straight quotes from LotR (too easy, I know) and numerous from flicks that have nothing to do with fantasy like Jackie Brown, Top Gun etc.
Call me crazy, but that's fun for me. In any case, just a heads up if you like that sort of thing and want to try to pick them up from my dialogue. |
