| For the Night Masks storyline. Fantastic job to all that were involved. Well thought out and well played all around. Special thanks to Sirac for the event. Additional thanks to Sol for helping and letting him play that much! *cackles*. Once again thank you to all....it was a blast! |

Yer very welcome. As always there were mechanics that got in the way, like the dang subdual in the end fight, but hopefully the event went smoothly enough people felt challenged and scared and enjoyed the victory at the end. That was the intent anyway! :0)
Very tired now, so g' night all, and like I say, hope ya enjoyed,

absolutely.
and I must say... it's always enjoyable to get to the near end of an event, and have something arise that you really are tempted by.. and to make you have to think hard about.
I was sitting there as ME, the player, thinking... "you can't be serious, hell no we wouldn't take your offer"
But then having to approach it in a way that Cora would think about it, and thinking... or rather watching her make the decision and discover that she actually WAS tempted to take them seriously. (and it's really kind of spooky how often this happens.. where she takes on a life of her own and goes off in her own direction... leaving me to just watch it unfold with anything from mild amusement, to at times complete shock)
so yeah, bravo for a great storyline... and everyone who added to it, DM and PC's alike.
...and I just have to add... thank goodness the nightmasks stepped on a lot of toes, so we (the Hand) had help. hehe |

Indeed, thank you Sirac and Sol for a great event. It was short, sweet and too the point, I love it. When Jessup was being tempted with the offer I went from two extremes. From worrying that Jubei would have to leave there with a total loss of faith in Cora and Jessup, to jumping up and down and cheering him on as Jessup gave em the best Reply I've seen yet to being offered the "easy" way out. So once again thanks to you crazy Brits for running the event, and thanks to all the players there. You all made it a blast to be back in the fight. Peace, Lord Jago |

Just add a big thank you to ficcy. Her help with tileset "magic" really set the scene beautifully for the final fight. Whilst I prepared the initial "warm welcome", and the fight to the top, she set the stage for the grand finale, and I know for me anyway, it was the perfect environs for concluding this story, that has run so long.
Thanks Ficcy,
Sirac |
