**** DM EVENT: Back into the abyss

((This is obviously the continuation of the current Ferein/Tear storyline, but posted separately since the previous thread is now in use for the player run aspects))
Elvalia looked at the messenger from Tel'Elena, an expression of slight dismay on her face. "You are sure of this?"
The elven mage nodded, clearly very disturbed by the information the parchment carried, "Aala my lady, there can be no doubt."
"The Princess has been informed?" Asked Elvalia.
"Aala, word was sent to her immediately," the mage replied.
Elvalia nodded her thanks and watched as the mage departed through the trees of Eden before turning her gaze once more to the words on the parchment.
"Gods no.... first the druids, and now this," she muttered, walking slowly off towards her home.

The farmer walked into his home and slumped into the chair, rubbing his face in consternation, his eyes clearly showing his wife his severe concern.
"There ain't nothin'," he sighed, "no wheat, no corn... rotten on the stalks.... most of it at leas'," he muttered, "fruit on them trees down in the orchard ain't lookin' to good neither."
His wife sank into the chair oppposite and looked at him across the table, "What're we goin' t'do then?"
The look he gave her in reply was one she was totally unused to, devoid of happiness, of hope. "I dunno," he sighed softly, "I jus' dunno."
((OOC - As of version 2-99-4a of the mod there will be an important journal update affecting not just Elberethians but ALL players, please ensure you read and RP accordingly.
The next expedition into devastated Ferein will take place this coming SATURDAY, 21st January 2006 at 7 PM GMT (2 PM EST), meeting in Ferein, outside the sealed gate. Apologies for the time, I realise it won't be ideal for some, but even without the problems encountered last week the event is likely to be lengthy)) |

| ((As those who took part in last week's bunfight will be aware, the next journey into the ruined city was scheduled to take place this weekend. That may still be the case, in the evnt of which I will post most likely tomorrow. At the moment however my PC seems to be having issues with NWN and objecting to me remaining IG any longer than 10-15 minutes at a stretch, which obviously isn't ideal. I'm doing my utmost to get it sorted, and as I said above if I should manage to do so then we will still go this weekend, if not I will postpone until next weekend. Will post to keep all interested informed.)) |

Technical issues having now been resolved the postponed event will now definitely take place on SATURDAY 4th FEBRUARY at 8pm GMT (3pm EST). Any with an interest, previous participants, or indeed any who haven't managed to attend before and wish to should gather in the Sacred Grove in Ferein at that time |
