Portable Forge

Might sound silly or even a waste of time but here goes; I would love to see my PC be able to set up a portable forge in the grasslands or anywhere where she happens to be that is a 'safe' area.

How it would work is something like the camp fires, one time use, but in this case the forge would remain until reset.

How you want to impliment it into the world (assuming you do!) might take many forms.

You may wish the smith to mine certain ore and/or wood to 'build' the forge. You might just make it availible through a merchant at a price (only I can't see Moon carrying around one or several forges in her pack ;/

My reason for wanting a portable forge? Well there are some classes that actually dislike cities and large towns, Rangers, Druids, Barbarians off the top of my head, since this is the case, for RP reasons it really is a bit much to expect these types to spent overly long in such places in order to further their skill in crafting. Ohhh this might mean portable everything though huh? Well I am just asking for a portable forge, after all, it's on my wish list :P

Is the Buckshire Trading Post or Paws too large for the Rangers, Druids and Barbarian's tastes?

Purpose in life: finding better ways of allowing players to kill themselves. Repeatedly.

There are other forges located in out of the way places that you can use if you look about IG. As a matter of fact I seem to recall one located close by the great plains, which is in a pretty safe area. Close to some good mining as well if I recall, hows that for convenience... if in doubt ask other travellers you meet on the road.

Hmm.......

I'll see if I can add something for Druids and Rangers and such outta the big Cities, as for being portable? That depends on Paul and his work-load, which unfortunately is already quite high ;)
