**Local man found petrified in his own home**
A local farmer living in the Great Plains was found completely petrified. Luckily for the farmer, Mr. Barlimow, he was released from his stone encasement by local Midoran clerics. Mr. Barlimow was reported as stating the following..
“I heard the door a me home open up...as I looked over, all I saw was a pair a blood red eyes glaring at me. Thas all I can remember."
. A witness nearby, a known vagabond, concurred with Mr. Barlimow’s story. The Midoran magistrate is looking into the matter. It is recommended that all travelers be on the look out for this creature as it can pose a serious threat to any unprepared persons.
** Slaughter at the Midor outpost.**
Three Midor guardsmen were brutally slain this day by what was reported by one survivor as a kobold. Miles Hovan, the lone survivor had this to say.
" They came out of nowhere....they were wielding blades that dripped acid....it was terrible...me mates just were cut down to shreds before they could see what was happening...before I could react..they would just disappear with out a sound...I ran for me life...thankfully I was aided by a ranger, a right sized by the name of Perin, and a warrior named Mikaylin. Thank Midoran for their arrival. If it weren’t for them, I would have been done for for sure."
Midor has dispatched a squad of the of guardsmen to reinforce the outpost in case of more attacks. Citizens are warned against travel into the wastelands.
**Livestock gutted**
In a related story, local livestock have been found gutted. Local farmers are reporting that cows, sheep and chickens have been found dead. No traces of those responsible have turned up. Midoran magistrate suggests that this may be the work of the goblins in Mirghul
