"The spark that started the fire"

Vindicar knew where he was. He always did, it was the rest of the world around him that seemed out of its normal order.

He painfully opened his bloodshot eyes and shook his head to clear the grave dirt from them. Sitting up he could now see he seemed to be in a shallow grave. It was at this point that it all started to come back to him.. The Midorian guard that tried to oppose him as he trashed the temple to the foolish folowers of light.. how he swung at him as he summoned forth the flames of Naruth to bathe him in torment.. except now he laid within a shallow grave and of the guard he remembered no more..

As realisation dawned upon him, Vindicars face turned red with fury. Fools! They dared to oppose him and his will! He would not stop until Midor, and its people had burnt to a cinder. Unlike many of the followers of his master, he would plan Midors destruction. Midor had made an enemy of him, and now he would not stop until it had been bought to the ground. A spark of passion, of hate, and of vengance had ignited his heart, and the very focus of his being had been turned fully towards Midors downfall.

He painfully lifted himself from the grave as he smelt the sickly-sweet stench of rotting flesh upon the wind. Seeing a shamberling figure limping towards him, he clicked his fingers summoning forth Fyre, his flaming familiar, before dousing the zombie in the flames of Naruth. Fumberling in his sachel, he pulled forth a bottle of weak curative potions which he started to guzzle down as the singed form of the zombie collapsed upon the ground.

His anger was now focussed, he had a purpose to his life beyond following his divine master. Midor would fall, and it would be him aand the firey blood that runs through his veins that would bring it about. As he noticed more shamberling forms rising through the morning mists, he felt the red fury descending upon him and started to incant the sorcerous words that would summon forth more of Naruths passion to incinerate the corpses rising before him.
