The following is an excerpt from the Latest Issue:
The Queen has finally moved to quell rumours today regarding several important matters of state.
This scribe has long believed she was With-Child, and today she announced that indeed, she has given birth to a Daughter. The Bairn is well and in good health, but no further details are forthcoming from The Palace, as to the Child's Father who at this time remains a mystery.
This revelation has provoked outcry from small religious groups who have denounced the Birth out of Wedlock as "Heresy", and a dreadful example from one in such prominence.
Also announced was the Grand-Opening of The Royal Botanical Gardens, long a secret project to many, bar this scribe, who's sources within The Palace revealed the plans many a moon ago. They are being finished in The Wealthier Plaza and will soon to be open to the Public for a "Small Donation".
Again, this has caused an Outcry from many Citizens as "Pandering to the whims of the rich". One, Bald Rick commented:
"How am I supposed to afford a Small Donation?!? Oi! and where's my Turnip! I bet they nicked it! *EDITED FOR PROFANITY* ........... Gits." |

This Scribe reports that today the Royal Botanical Gardens have been partially opened....... it is believed that an anouncement will soon come from the Palace on the Official Grand opening.
My sources indicate that a large shipment of exotic Herbs, plants and Rare Orchids are on their Way for this large-scale event, which Queen Aquinas is rumoured to be attending herself........ Whether we shall catch a glimpse of her Newly-born Daughter is a very different matter! |
