Favorite Way to Play Vives?

| Hey, was just curious as to what you all do to enhance your enjoyment while playing Vives. Personally, I like a nice dark room, a cup of coffee, pizza, a fife and drum CD or Mideval Babes CD in the backround, and lots and lots of people to play with :D |

With the invent of wireless mouse and keyboard I now like to sit back in a really comfory armchair with plenty to drink.

Me personally?
Jammed onto a rickety stool (that I can't be bothered to take the time to repair) or kneeling on the floor.
Jumping on every time I think my girlfriend won't hassle me for "Playing that dang game again that wakes me up at 3 in the morning when you finish playing it and come to bed".
Finding there's people on I know and party with (who don't ask me to follow them into the insane hard area of instant death).
That's how I like to play vives normally! |

This like a personal replica of me. I have a broken stool. Actually I broke my girlfriends wooden chair and constantly get the "When are you going to replace it" line, as if my DIY effort to superglue it back together was somehow inadequate.
As for the "That bloody game" comment. OMG if I had a pound for everytime she said that!. *grins*

I liek to play in a nice, plush gold gilded and highly cushioned throne surrounded by scores of serving girls who bring me food, drink and the occasional backrub for me, who are sweet enough to tuck me into bed when i fall asleep at my computer.
But....since I don't that i guess my desk, some coffee, something to snack on and a bunch of fun people online I have met, who like to role play and have fun with. |

I remember Back when I was REALLY into NWN... (First Summer it was out) My Day went as follows...
Wake up, take a bath... go to Summershool... day got hotter.... Got out at Noon... Went up the mountains.... got home... went downtstairs to the nice chilled floor cement Basement, Turned off all the lights and let some gentle natural light filter in from the small windows.... nice big comfy leather chair... Dual Monitor Display... Geforce4....
On my way down I'd stop in the Garage and Kitchen.... 3 tall cans of Arizona Tea, and a box of Cheeze-its.... I was in personal heaven for the next 6 hours.
My "Setting out to take care of business" or "Raid a dungeon with an awesome party of people I gave complete and competent orders to every second of action...." Song... was "When the Levee Breaks" By Led Zeppelin.... Slayed a few dragons to the song. Yeah... a few Led Zeppelin and Down songs still remind me of some of the dungeons in the first server I was in, as sad as that is...
I listen to the "Swan Song" by Down, and I think of "Chief Fetkin" in the "Sungrim Caverns" Back in TGC... Back when I played the ever elusive and notoriously deadly gunship rogue "Mireldeyn Ewylerwyn" Yes... those were the days. |

Ha, playing Battle Grounds to Led Zeppelin, that's hilarious. I'm part of a Half-Life clan that actually plays The Battle Grounds every now and again - one of the six different mods we play. :).
But as for the question. I like a huge steaming bowl of the best dang coffee in the world, and an empty house - preferably on a Sunday morning. Doesn't happen too often, but it is the best when it does - occassionally the cat jumps onto my lap and sleeps on my lap and left arm, thereby radically increasing my chances of dying a horrible death... |
