Praise for new areas
Posted: 13 Mar 2005 02:46 AM
I just want to congratulate whomever made Tanglewood and its surrounding areas (Ara?). I desperately wanted to explore all that I could of the new areas and (at least) one of the quests involved with it, but I had to stop. At a certain point, I just became too dang scared to go any farther. Such was the pervading atmosphere. Good job!

Now, I'm going to cry.

Do not ask of them questions. You will receive three answers, all of which are true and horrifying to know.

And praise for the old areas that have been resculpted.

Most of them of gone from being a simple area to a living environment.

Midor actually looks and feels like a city. I know Im perhaps a little bit behind with all this but I visited the Seafront yesterday and was truly taken back.

I actually thought "Ooh I could take my girlfriend here for lunch.... wait... no you cant.. she's real and this isnt." *grins*

Really great stuff

Speaking of which... why am I not that kind of girl?

I visited Madam Setine's and got made a perfectly good offer, but all the answers available were along the lines of "I'm not that kind of girl".

What if I want to be that kind of girl.

*grins* Just kidding.

Oh and just another point (sorry to harp on about the Seafront)

but I really liked how there were gates within the area that did not lead to transitions if you know what I mean.

It really added to the dimensions of the area in my opinion.

PS: I like how the penguin now has a name too. *grins*

I think this is the right place to chime in about World Design. I have to agree that Vives has the best World Design that I have ever seen for outside and city areas. Really impressive stuff and you can tell many hours have gone in for every area.

Wow.
