The signal fire on the outskirts of Port Royale.
Ferein: all that willow, and none of it harvestable (right, Azrael?)
Cold, magnificent Midor.
Picturesque Brandibuck Glade.
Sunset is the best time to visit Elbereth’s Tears.
You never know who you’ll run into at the crossroads on the Great Plains.
When the server is empty, the storytellers tell stories! (*Ahem!* Orange, you still owe me the rest of that story. I am dying of suspense.)
“At first, I think about my surroundings; that’s why a peaceful place is usually best. The wind, the temperature... the sounds of natural things... then I focus on me and search for the inner energies. They can be focused to make your body do things.” - Samic
Debrief at McGillicutty’s Inn of an expedition that resulted in zero casualties on our party’s side (for once).
Pes takes Gabe and Miri to Undercity, which is no doubt where he got his intimidating helmet and armour (either that, or Versuci designed it, as the man seems to be fond of black)
Prelude to disaster: Sam, Ali and Miri chatting just before entering Gorlath Keep.
“Oh the weather outside is frightful / But the fire is so delightful / And since we’ve no place to go / Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow”
Midor Coast: temporarily not infested by monsters, thanks to our intrepid adventurers (yeesh, adventurers can’t be good for Vives’ ecosystem).
“We are wicked and dangerous ladies! Look out!” - Miramil, after she and Sara dyed their clothes black prior to entering Nethar’u
...And while the others argued back and forth to no avail about the man that had been killed in Port Royale that day, we were getting answers and coming up with solutions, all thanks to Bruno. The moral of the story is: animals are just so much more reliable and reasonable than people.
It is amazing how many people will congregate in the middle of the road because one is wearing a tortoise on one’s head. |

Well kudos to the photographer, these are some really nice snaps.
But to add to the commendations, is Vives not a really awesome looking, truly breathable world. A big shoutout to the builders who have sculpted such a magnificent looking environment. |

That would mostly be the work of Ara.
Other builders in the past have built areas, but honestly, I dont know who built what. I think Ara built most of it.

Well Kudos to Ara then.
Perhaps he should be given the title "The Divine Architect" although maybe that's blasphemous. |

These are great screenies, thanks for sharing. Just as an addendum, this is the kind of thing that can really help to attract new players, along with reviews / praise from existing players.
So if anyone wants to, please post these links or any reviews to this forum on the Bio Boards.
And dare I say it, there still are a lot of existing players who havent voted for Vives. Only 1 or 2 new votes since we put the message in IRC even! :0(
We are languishing in 84th position, despite an average score of 9.46, meaning no chance of getting into the Hall of Fame as things currently stand. Personally I think Vives definitely deserves to be there, especially after playing some of the top Hall of Fame PWs over the last couple of months. So, if you want to up your existing vote, or vote for the first time here's the link again.
Cheers,

Just wanted to say thanks to the two players that changed their existing vote, due to the poor voting system for PWs in NW Vault. Thanks for being willing to change your vote based on the system as is, rather than the way it should be. :0)
But what about the rest of you lot eh!? One of the great things about Vives is the community, but seeing how much time and effort the builders and DM team put into Vives, surely going along to the vault and voting not too big an ask...be great to see a few more votes up there, am sure some of the current batch of players with a huge amount of time IG havent voted yet. So yea, another nagging post, go and vote please. :0)
Links are in the preceding post...
Cheers,

Are they different things?
Just a note, I will try again but everytime I try and vote and write comments, when I click submit it simply returns to the same screen. I've tried this about 5-6 times and the same thing. I havent tried in a while though.
I'll try again but any suggestions as its really annoying. |

I know a few people have had this problem. Maybe try again, and if no joy e-mail the guy who runs the vault asking for his help? As it is an independently run site, worth being extra nice and appreciative of any help he can give though! :0)
I believe his e-mail addy is: Maximus@Vaultnetwork.com
