* At a Glance

A rather hardy stalwart human for one with an obvious education, which you can tell from his use of language. His body is heavily tattooed with magical markings; sometimes, he sees them move or switch positions. He wears no substantial armor, yet he has been seen carrying a sword and shield.

* Personality

Some say his fiery red hair in an indication that his susceptibility to rages. Though, usually his unpredictable thoughts and mental illusions are a greater distraction for him.

His attention span appears to be short, since he is constantly distracted by his surroundings and making off-topic comments. However, when it comes to performing the arcane arts, his mind is extremely focused.

His personal library of spells and scrolls if very orderly. He enjoys perusing his set of scrolls. He is obsessed with owning a complete collection of known spells. And will even make unscrupulous deals for them.

* Family, Relationships & History

He came from a very rich family, which provided him with his education. But he wanted independence and a chance to prove himself. So, at a young age he ran off and roamed with a nomadic barbarian tribe for a short time. Missing the civility of life in a city, he returned; but on his own terms.

* Particular, Observable Quirks

While roaming the outlands and exploring various fauna, he came across some purple mushrooms. He has found that smoking them enhances his mind and allows a more focus thought when producing arcane magic. However, there is a side effect, unbeknownst to him. Sometimes, the mental effect is too strong, and he will have mild hallucinations. Often these strange perceptions lead him into unusual predicaments (a touch of Don Quixote).

He does a penchant for artistic sketching and painting. So on his travels, he likes to sketch the various scenery, though they don't seem to represent the actual scene. One can see how the mushrooms have warped his perception of reality by looking at his sketches or paintings.

When he is very tired, especially after lots of arcane magic has been unleashed, he will tend to fiddle with his pipe, as he worries a bit more than usual.
