DM's are rare in my timezone
Posted: 06 Jan 2005 08:42 AM
I was merly wondering about the DM ratio to the Aussies, GMT + 10 personally for me, compared to you northen hemisphere bastards.... ohh I mean people...

So yeah, people tell me all the time about how they are always being praised by DM's, rping with them, etc. But when I'm on I never see anyone, DM wise.

So are there actually -any- Austrialian DM's hanging about?

Thankyou.

I know that there's one aussie DM. Given that there are only have 2 aussie players, IIRC (Including you), the 1:2 ration has to be the best there is. :P

Yeah we do have one Aussie DMSmiley.

Plus there have been fewer DMs around over the Christmas/New Year holiday times as people have been away. I am sure you'll see more DMs IG over the coming weeks.

But you should be careful what you wish forWink.

What Barnas neglected to mention is that our Aussie DM is the worst one we have and measures his success by player kills. He also likes to masquerade as a chicken.

Hmm he did once save the life of one of my PCs. He's really not all that bad. He also turned him into a penguin then, but hey... you can't win 'em all.

You're all insane.

And there's nothing wrong with Lytton.

If you don't mind perverse jokes.

And gang-DM killing.

Gang DM-killing, you say? How do you do that?

Well, it's simple. You race to see who DM kills a certain PC fastest. :P

I know this will likely sound like a flame or somesuch, but I wish to merely point out something I am always noticing about inquiries of timezone DM's... They almost never say what time they are inquiring about. I for example play in EST timezone, however if I simply ask if there are any EST DM's there could be five and they are just on in EST mornings when I am on in the evening. So I guess what I am saying is when inquiring, say something to the effect of "Are there any DM's that are on occasionally in EST (GMT -5) from around 23:00 - 04:00?" This way if there are GMT DM's on around the equivalant time they can effectiely say so. Again, not a flame, just an observation. Thanks! Smiley -Calmeir

You can't mix Ancient and Dire together....

And Lytton is fine as long as the Archery targets don't start trying to talk to you and kill you.

...dire chickens?

Please be aware that there is an in-game book that might shed some light on the fact that not all Vives' chickens are destined for the dinner table. As for specifics... FOIG.

Enjoy!
