Trolls not killed by darkfire?
Posted: 18 Oct 2004 01:41 AM
It seems if I cast a darkfire spell on a melee weapon it flames quite nicely and does extra
fire damage on a hit.
But when killing a troll I need to get out a torch to finish it off.
Is this a bug or how it is supposed to work.

Rax confused dwarf.

It's a bug. They know about it and are working on it, but a fix mightn't be IG for some time.

Just a thought I know will be unpopular but magical fire is not really fire for the purposes of these sort of things. It too instantaneous to retain the fire properties. Technically whilst acid spells should work normally against Trolls, firespells shouldnt.

But hey, since Evar is also known as Flameboy *(for all those friends fans)* Im happy for this to continue.
