Rudeness

Locking this post was rude, especially without explanation. I'm not sure if the person who locked it is concious of it, and probably did not do it on purpose, but it came off as rude, at least to me.

It clearly was not a post having anything to do with guilds.

I locked the post. I should have posted an explanation as to why that was done.
Vives has had very, very bad experiences with guilds in the past and your post initially sounded like a call for a guild, which brough back some bad memories among some of the DM's who remembered what happened with the last guilds in Vives.
I apologize if it came of as rude, as that was not the intention, nor is it the intention to discourage players from coming together for a common cause.
I do suggest that such calls for groups be handled in the RP forums as an in character, roleplay post. That is more in the spirit of what the DM's wish to achieve.

Dear Luther,
Thank you for the that. I'm very sensitive person and I do appreciate the thoughtfullness of your reply.
I understand that the Vives team does not want guilds, and I would never think of starting a guild in Vives. It was a scheme I had as previously mentioned to you privately.
In any case, I'll keep what you said in mind in the future. My mind races fast, and its hard for me to build things up slowly. Especially with all the ideas stuck in my noodle.
