Youse see, Dhaak no always been in dis position. Dhaak not always been on da road. Dhaak used ta have home. Used ta have tribe. But dems be set in dere ways. Say woman no culd be warrior. But Dhaak no agree!
So Dhaak try to train. Dems no let Dhaak. Dhaak try to train in secret, but dems find out. Keep Dhaak frum havin weapons.
But dat no stop Dhaak.Dhaak still try ta prove dems wrong. Show dem dat woman can be warrior. So Dhaak learn ta fight wif bare hands. Dhaak no need puny weapons no more! Dhaak proved point! But dems no like bein provin wrong. Dey kicked Dhaak out. Still gots scars frum dat.
*she scratched the back of her head for a moment, then returned to the story*
So now Dhaak on own, figure dat Dhaak culd find job er sumfin elsewhere. But no one wanna hire Dhaak. And dems dat did no wanna pay Dhaak nuffin. Dat when Dhaak realize dere wus only one ting ta do. Dems know Dhaak be orc. So Dhaak need act like orc. Dat how Dhaak became mercenary. Only job Dhaak culd find dat actually pay decent.
But dat no stop da per.. perse.. parse… people treatin Dhaak bad cuz she be orc blud. It no take long before people’s try ta kill Dhaak. Or simply try ta run outa city. So Dhaak need stay on da move. Dat why Dhaak be here, on dis boat, cuz Dhaak goin ta someplace news. Course, dems only allow Dhaak on boat if Dhaak stay in room at bottom, but it better dan nuffin, right?
*just then, the rat she was talking to scurried away out of sight, and she sighed*
Oh sures… you no want nuffin ta do wif Dhaak eider… Dhaak unnastand…
