Margaret looks up from her nail filing as the man approaches. He pulls out what appear to be approximately a dozen or so parchment cut-outs of .. feet.
"Where can I setup?"
Margaret responds with a quizzical look.
"I'm giving dancing lessons for the party-goers. You know, the square dance. Perhaps a line dance," he beams proudly, waving a few of the feet around - apparently to reinforce his point.
"You can setup over there if you want, " she says pointing to a prominent spot in the center of the inn's wooden flooring and returns to her nail filing.
The man diligently begins placing the sequentially numbered cut-outs into various positions on the floor. A square-ish pattern of foot prints begin to take shape upon the inconsistently grained and slightly dusty floorboards. He moves a few of the cut-outs around in agonzingly minute increments, in an effort to place them just so.
"But if you're here for the party, it was last night," she says off-handedly, without looking up.
"Oh." The man diligently begins retrieving the sequentially numbered cut-outs from the various positions on the floor, repacking the cut-outs in what appears to be a purpose-built, finely inlaid, mahogany and gold-filligreed case designed expressly for storing feet cut-outs - and leaves the way he came in.
"Bye Ronan. Come by again soon sometime," she calls out, shaking her head slightly.
